6c Theodore Roosevelt, Imperforate Error (1039b). The unique Mint N.H. block of four, large margins all around including part of two adjoining stamps at right, bright color
EXTREMELY FINE. THIS REMARKABLE BLOCK CONTAINS THE WORLD'S KNOWN SUPPLY OF THIS IMPERFORATE ERROR. ONE OF ONLY TWO DENOMINATIONS OF THE LIBERTY SERIES KNOWN IMPERFORATE.
This unique block was the subject of a front page article in Linn's Stamp News (Jan. 3, 2000, copy accompanies). The block was discovered by a collector in Connecticut, Michael Makarewicz, who purchased it at auction in the early 1980s as part of an accumulation of blocks. While rummaging through the lot for stamps to use as postage many years later, he discovered the block and sent it to A.P.S. for certification. It was expertized by Wayne Youngblood, Ken Lawrence and John Hotchner. At the time the block was authenticated, there was concern that it could be printer's waste removed from the Bureau of Engraving & Printing. However, no other printer's waste of this issue is known. Also, the 3c denomination is also known imperforate (Scott 1035f) with 5-10 pairs reported. Other denominations, such as the 3c and 4c, are also known imperforate between or imperforate horizontally. The rotary press coils of the issue are also known imperforate. So, based on the corroborating evidence supporting the legitimacy of this error, it was added to Scott Catalogue shortly after it was authenticated.
With 1999 A.P.S. certificate.
6c Roosevelt Vertical Coil, Imperforate Pair (1298a). Mint N.H joint line strip of four, large margins, rich color
VERY FINE. THIS JOINT LINE STRIP OF FOUR OF THE 6-CENT 1967 ROOSEVELT COIL IS EXCEEDINGLY RARE.
We have never offered a joint line pair before, but we have offered a strip of twelve with joint line (1992 Rarities, bottom stamp in strip cut into) and another joint line strip of four (ex Floyd). Datz notes 25-30 pairs are recorded, so it is likely these are the only joint line multiples. Scott value $4,500 as a joint line pair.
5c Marine Corps Reserve, Black and Bister (Engraved) Omitted (1315b). Mint N.H. pane of 50, one example of the error with five additional stamps showing part of the engraving missing, the error caused by additional piece of paper which adhered to the sheet
VERY FINE. THIS IS THE ONLY REPORTED EXAMPLE OF THE 1966 5-CENTS MARINE CORPS RESERVE ISSUE WITH THE ENGRAVED PRINTING OMITTED. A PHENOMENAL RARITY.
The Scott Catalog of Errors (formerly Datz) notes that this error is unique. With 1995 P.F. certificate. Scott value $16,000 as single error without premium for the additional stamps with partial printing.

With 1999 P.F. certificate. Listed but unpriced in Scott.
6c John Trumbull, Black (Engraved) Omitted (1361b). Mint N.H. pane of 50 containing the only two recorded examples of this error, four additional stamps with part of engraving omitted ranging from small part omitted to one with almost the entire engraving omitted, caused by a foldover at bottom right corner of the sheet
VERY FINE. THIS REMARKABLE PANE CONTAINS THE ONLY RECORDED EXAMPLES OF THE 6-CENT TRUMBULL WITH BLACK ENGRAVED PRINTING OMITTED. A VERY DRAMATIC ERROR.
John Trumbull is known as "the painter of the revolution". His portrait of the signing of the Declaration of Independence is one of four of his works hanging in the U.S. Capitol's rotunda. Several of his paintings were used as the basis for United States stamps.

VERY FINE. THIS IS THE ONLY RECORDED EXAMPLE OF THE 6-CENT EISENHOWER COIL IMPERFORATE BETWEEN. A GREAT RARITY.

Nov. 5, 1970" First Day datestamps on unaddressed cacheted cover, the imperforate pair with creases affecting both stamps
VERY FINE. THIS IS ONE OF ONLY TWO RECORDED IMPERFORATE PAIRS OF THIS ISSUE, AND IT IS THE ONLY ONE WITH THE "MAIL EARLY IN THE DAY" SLOGAN IMPRINT.
The Scott Catalog of Errors (formerly Datz) lists a vertical margin pair with plate number and this pair with the slogan imprint, both similarly cancelled on First Day covers. No others are known. With 1992 P.F. certificate.
8c Family Planning, Dark Brown (Lithographed) Omitted (1455c). With 1991 P.F. certificate.
8c Tom Sawyer, Horizontal Pair, Imperforate Between (1470a). 10c World Peace Through Law, Horizontal Pair, Imperforate Vertically (1576b). Mint N.H. bottom right corner plate no. 36535 block of four, with most of two additional stamps at left which are also imperforate vertically so that this appears to be an even larger multiple of the error, cut to a point at left and with crease at far left away from the error block which leads us to believe this was caused by a foldover, rich colors
VERY FINE. THIS REMARKABLE PLATE BLOCK CONTAINS THE ONLY TWO RECORDED EXAMPLES OF THE 10-CENT WORLD PEACE THROUGH LAW ISSUE IMPERFORATE VERTICALLY.
The Scott Catalog of Errors (formerly Datz) notes only two pairs are known in the unique plate block. A January 2004 Bennett sale listed a block with Mail Early imprint at right but the design was cut into and it is not two full stamps. With 1994 P.F. certificate. Scott value $15,000 as two pairs.

22c Locomotive, Red (Lithographed) Omitted (2365a). From a booklet and therefore has straight edges at sides, with red in wheels omitted, wavy-line machine cancel, Very Fine, the Scott Catalog of Errors (formerly Datz) notes only one unused and one used are recorded, with 1991 P.F. certificate, the Scott value seems modest given its rarity
