2c Carmine (220). Mint N.H., rich color, wide margins, Extremely Fine, with 2008 P.S.E. certificate with top selvage which has since been removed
2c Carmine, Cap on Left "2" (220a). Mint N.H., incredibly bright shade, beautifully choice centering with wide and balanced margins

2c Carmine, Cap on Both "2"s (220c). Original gum, in our opinion this is barely hinged but most recent certificate notes Mint N.H., choice centering and brilliant color, Extremely Fine, ex "Clipper City", 2010 P.S.E. certificate no. 1226657 no longer accompanies (OGph, XF 90; SMQ $1,250), with 2022 P.F. certificate as Mint N.H. and graded XF 90, SCV $650 as hinged
3c Purple (221). Mint N.H., deep rich color on bright paper, wide and balanced margins
EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 3-CENT SMALL BANK NOTE ISSUE, GRADED XF-SUPERB 95 JUMBO BY P.S.E.
With 1992 P.F. and 2021 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95 Jumbo). Only one grades higher (at 98, realized $9,500 hammer in our recent "El Dorado" sale). Two others share this desirable grade.
4c Dark Brown (222). Mint N.H., deep shade and crisp impression, outstanding centering with wide margins

Ex "Sacramento". With 2016 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95). Only five others in the P.S.E. Population Report share this superior grade with only two higher (at 98, we haven't offered one since 2016).

10c Green (226). Mint N.H., choice centering with balanced margins, rich color, Extremely Fine, with 1985, 2018 P.F. and 2017 P.S.E. certificates (latter two XF 90)
15c Indigo (227). Original gum, lightly hinged, intense shade and impression on bright paper, perfectly centered with Jumbo margins
EXTREMELY FINE GEM LIGHTLY HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 15-CENT 1890 ISSUE, GRADED SUPERB 98 JUMBO BY P.S.E.
Ex Morton. With 2010 P.S.E. certificate (OGph, Superb 98 Jumbo), the highest grade awarded and shared by only three others. The highest grade for a Mint N.H. example is 98 (one example). The stamp offered here is perfect if you value centering and margins above all else.
30c Black (228). Mint N.H., intense shade and detailed impression on fresh white paper, unusually wide margins
EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A BEAUTIFUL MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 30-CENT 1890 ISSUE, GRADED XF-SUPERB 95 BY P.S.E.
With 1998 P.F. and 2021 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95). Only three grade higher, a statistic that has not changed since 2009.
90c Orange (229). Original gum, vibrant color, essentially perfect centering with Jumbo margins
EXTREMELY FINE GEM ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 90-CENT 1890 ISSUE, GRADED SUPERB 98 JUMBO BY P.S.E.—THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED.
With 2000 P.F. and 2021 P.S.E. certificates (OGph, Superb 98 Jumbo). This is the highest grade awarded and it is shared by only two others. This is the first in this grade we have offered. For Mint N.H., the highest is one graded 98.
