VERY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL AND RARE MULTICOLORED ADVERTISING COVER FROM J. STEVENS ARMS AND TOOL COMPANY.
The Stevens company was founded in 1864 by Joshua Stevens in Chicopee Mass., and by 1902 advertised themselves as the largest manufacturer of sporting arms in the world. Their depiction of a woman holding a gun is very unusual.
