Block of eight, rich color, each with neat Oct. 28, 1864 manuscript cancel, light horizontal creases mostly between stamps but one does affect second row, one pulled perf at left, still Extremely Fine and an attractive large multiple, from the Weill Brothers stock, Scott value $1,500 as two blocks of four

EXTREMELY FINE. THIS IS THE LARGEST RECORDED MULTIPLE OF THE 2-CENT PROPRIETARY PART PERFORATED ISSUE, SCOTT R13b.
The Curtis Collection website lists only one other block (of four) plus strips. Ex Weill Brothers stock and Richmond. Scott value $7,500 as three blocks of four.

FINE APPEARANCE. ONE OF THREE RECORDED BLOCKS OF FOUR OF THE 3-CENT PLAYING CARDS PART PERFORATED ISSUE—THE LARGEST SIZE MULTIPLE KNOWN.
This is the largest recorded multiple, and two other blocks of four are known. Ex Cunliffe and Curtis as an irregular block of eleven.
3c Telegraph, Green, Part Perforated (R19b). Block of 50 with bottom and right selvage including imprint with "Plate No." and without any number, original gum, few h.r., rich color, few faults including light creases, some perf separations sensibly reinforced, Very Fine appearance, this is the largest recorded multiple, one other is also known from top right corner of the sheet but without any imprint, ex Whitman and Fay, Scott value $5,412 as blocks and pairs
4c Proprietary, Purple, Part Perforated (R22b). Vertical pair, bright shade, choice centering neat Sep. 11, 1862 manuscript cancels, light horizontal crease at bottom of bottom stamp, Very Fine appearing pair

The 10c Certificate Part Perforated is rarely found as a sound well-centered pair.

VERY FINE STRIP OF THE 10-CENT CERTIFICATE PART PERFORATED FIRST ISSUE—the largest size multiple.
The Curtis Collection website lists six strips of five of the 10c Certificate Part Perforated. No larger multiple is known. Scott value $4,850 as pairs.
