III (252) and 10c Blue, Special Delivery (E4), tied by Hartford Conn. oval registry cancels on small piece, 50c diagonal crease at top right, Very Fine, a colorful and rare franking, ex "Whitpain", Scott value for the four stamps as used singles

$5.00 Dark Green (278). With wide left selvage with part arrow, original gum, there was once a tiny amount of mount disturbance or a gum soak at the top right corner evident in the perfs on front but it has been expertly removed

Horizontal pair with plate no. 85 at top right and part imprint at top left, light strike of target cancel, few expertly rejoined perf separations, tiny natural wrinkle at top of left selvage, Very Fine, a scarce used position piece, ex "Whitpain", Scott value as singles without premium for the plate number or part imprint
