Top imprint, plate no. 5782 and letter "A" block of six with wide selvage, four stamps Mint N.H., top center and top right stamps lightly hinged, rich color, choice centering throughout, accompanying certificate notes top center stamp with light creases which look to us more like natural gum creases
EXTREMELY FINE APPEARANCE. A BEAUTIFUL AND RARE PLATE BLOCK OF THE 1915 $1.00 PERF 10 DOUBLE-LINE WATERMARKED ISSUE, SCOTT 460.
Plate 5782 was the only plate prepared for each of the $1.00 Franklin issues (Scott 423, 460, 478 and 518). Lewis Kaufman records only six top and six bottom plate blocks for this issue.

With 1997 P.F. and 2024 P.S.E. certificates (OGph, Superb 98). This is the highest grade awarded to an unused Scott 477 in any gum condition and it is shared by only three other hinged examples and six Mint N.H.

EXTREMELY FINE MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE RARE 2-CENT TYPE VII IMPERFORATE OFFSET ISSUE.
Most Type VII stamps were used by private vending and affixing machine companies. However, unlike Scott 314A and 482A, a small supply of the imperforate 2c Type VII stamps did reach the public.

1c Green, Rotary Perf 11 (544). Tied by "Plymouth N.H. Dec. 21, 1923" duplex on Christmas postcard to Boston
FINE. A RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 1923 ONE-CENT ROTARY PERF 11 USED ON A POSTCARD. ONLY NINE POSTCARDS AND FIVE COVERS HAVE BEEN CERTIFIED AS GENUINE BY THE PHILATELIC FOUNDATION. VERY FEW EXIST OUTSIDE OF THIS CERTIFIED POPULATION.
A small quantity of 1c Rotary Press stamps was perforated 11 at the end of 1922, using remainder sheets from the earlier printings that were normally perforated in 10 gauge or 11/10 compound gauge. Its existence as a Perf 11 variety was discovered in 1936, and the stamp received its Scott Catalogue listing in 1938.
