4c Red Violet, Horizontal Pair, Imperforate Between (1036d). Mint N.H. booklet pane of six and se-tenant miscut partial pane of six, contains one horizontal pair imperforate between, this was caused by a foldover so there is the expected diagonal crease in right stamp of the error pair
VERY FINE. AN EXTREMELY RARE IMPERFORATE BETWEEN ERROR PAIR OF THE 4-CENT LINCOLN LIBERTY ISSUE.
Only one other example of this error located with Power Search. A booklet pane of six imperforate horizontally was also offered as part of the Beutel collection and realized $8,500 hammer in our Sale 991 (lot 1323).

The Scott Catalog of Errors (formerly Datz) states six of No. 1320b reported, and at least two of No. 1320c. We have sold two other No. 1320c, but none in combination with No. 1320b. This transitional block with two distinct color missing errors is the most desirable example of both No. 1320b and 1320c.

The Scott Errors catalogue (formerly Datz) records only six sound error pairs, plus one additional pair which is damaged, making this one of the rarest modern perforation errors.

Scott Errors catalogue notes four blocks of eight are known, including the plate block. With 2000 P.F. certificate for block of 16. This was separated so one plate number appears in the formerly adjoining block, which also has the "Mail Early in the Day" and Mr. Zip imprints.

VERY FINE. AN ENORMOUSLY RARE SE-TENANT BLOCK OF THE MINERAL HERITAGE ISSUE WITH A COMBINATION OF TWO ERRORS. ONE OF THE KEY MODERN COLOR-OMITTED ERRORS.
The Scott Errors catalogue (formerly Datz) lists No. 1541e as a se-tenant block containing singles at right of Nos. 1539b and 1541d, and states four blocks are known. This block differs slightly from that format in that pos. "b" contains some of the engraved purple, but none of the black inscription. Whatever the precise listing of this block should be, it is an enormous rarity.

VERY FINE. THE UNIQUE EXAMPLE OF THIS ERROR CAUSED IN A MOST UNUSUAL CIRCUMSTANCE.
The Scott Catalogue states "No. 1542f was caused by an occurrence that seems to be unique for U.S. total color omitted/missing errors. According to the BEP, oil on the printing blanket made a small area unreceptive to the blue ink. No blue at all was printed on one unique error stamp."
Accompanied by a letter from the BEP. This is the first time we have offered this unique error.

There are just two examples of the 13c Butterflies known imperforate horizontally. The other is a block with perfs in at lower right.

Scott Errors catalogue simply states "very rare". When this sheet was previously offered, it was noted in the description that six have been reported, implying another similar sheet exists. The three examples in this pane are the first copies of No. 1757l we have offered.

This is the first example of No. 1757p we have offered. It is listed in Scott Errors catalogue (but unpriced) as the pane of six sheets, before it was broken up into individual souvenir sheets.

VERY FINE. AN IMPRESSIVE MINT NEVER-HINGED BOTTOM PLATE NUMBER BLOCK OF SIXTEEN OF THE IMPERFORATE BETWEEN FOLK ART ERROR.
Scott Errors catalogue states only one pane of 40 was discovered, meaning there are eight possible complete blocks of four. The catalogue lists a plate block of eight, and we have offered a block of four with bottom selvage and one plate number, indicating perhaps two panes exist. That would make this multiple unique, as the other plate block is no longer intact. Scott value as four blocks of four with no premium for the better position.

Scott Errors catalogue notes two blocks of four and a pair are known. With 2006 P.F. certificate for the pane of 50 with 9th and 10th vertical rows imperforate between. Scott value as block of four with no premium for the plate number.

Group of all four of the Scott-listed perforation errors for this issue, best item is No. 2096c in a block of four, other three Mint N.H. in pairs, Fine-Very Fine, Scott Errors catalogue states only six blocks of four of No. 2096c are recorded plus two blocks of six, No. 2096d is also scarce with 20-25 pairs recorded, 2096d with 1994 P.F. certificate

EXTREMELY FINE. A RARE MINT NEVER-HINGED BLOCK OF SIX OF THE 20-CENT SMOKEY BEAR, WITH A BLOCK OF FOUR IMPERFORATE BETWEEN VERTICALLY AND HORIZONTALLY and a pair imperforate horizontally.
Normally modern errors are found imperforate between in only one direction. Only six blocks of four are recorded of No. 2096c (one faulty) plus two blocks of six. This is a wonderful modern rarity combining two different listed errors.

The Scott Errors catalogue reports only two known — though we sold another complete booklet of two panes in our sale of the Beutel collection (Sale 991, lot 1340). Scott value as two panes is $3,700.

32c World of Dinosaurs, Imperforate Errors (3136 var). Complete Mint N.H. sheet of 15, top pane perforations are normal, bottom pane perforations are shifted up dramatically resulting in freak perfs on numerous stamps (including in top pane) and completely imperforate stamps for Nos. 3136i (Edmontonia) and 3136l (Paleosaniwa), No. 3136n (Ornithomimus) has a perf barely touching the "U" in "USA", Very Fine and extremely rare, Scott lists this sheet completely imperforate in either the top pane (two reported) or bottom pane (one reported) but does not list this error with two or three imperforate stamps and most of the rest showing perforation freaks, Scott value for either half completely imperforate is $2,500
