2c Bank Check, Blue, Perforated (R5c). Choice centering, bright color, tied by well-struck "New Haven Con. Jan. 20" circular datestamp on locally used cover, well-struck "Held for Postage, New Haven Ct. Jan. 31" circular datestamp, barely reduced at right, trivial wear, Very Fine, scarce attempted drop rate usage of the Revenue stamp, ex Tolman
10c Inland Exchange, Imperforate (R36a). Block of four, large even margins all around, intense color on crisp fresh paper, Aug. 29, 1863 manuscript cancels
VERY FINE AND CHOICE. A RARE BLOCK OF THE IMPERFORATE 10-CENT INLAND EXCHANGE AND THE FINER OF THE TWO BLOCKS OF FOUR EXTANT.
Only one larger block is recorded in the Curtis census (a block of ten), and a strip of five is also known. This is the finer of the two recorded blocks of four (the other has uneven margins slightly cutting in).

$3.00 Manifest, Imperforate (R86a). Block of four, large margins to full, deep rich color, Aug. 12, 1864 manuscript cancels, small scissors-cut at right between stamps, Very Fine and choice, this is the largest recorded multiple and only one other is known, ex Joyce, Cunliffe and Curtis
$3.50 Inland Exchange, Blue, Imperforate (R87a). Large margins to touched at left, rich color, "D.S. & Co. May 2, 1863" circular datestamp cancel, tiny pinhole
FINE APPEARING EXAMPLE OF THE RARE $3.50 INLAND EXCHANGE IMPERFORATE — PARTICULARLY ELUSIVE WITH A HANDSTAMP CANCEL.
Only 1,430 were issued imperforate. This is one of only two examples listed in Power Search with a handstamp cancel. With 1984 P.F. certificate.
$15.00 Mortgage, Blue, Imperforate (R97a). Large even margins, intense shade, manuscript cancel, light horizontal crease at bottom, appears Extremely Fine
$25.00 Mortgage, Imperforate (R100a). Large to full margins, vibrant color and detailed impression, neat 1865 manuscript cancel

60c Blue & Black, Second Issue (R116). Unused (no gum), rich colors, choice centering, Very Fine, with 1998 P.F. certificate, SCV as used $250
2c Orange & Black, Third Issue, Center Inverted (R135b). Bright colors, neat herringbone cancel makes it appear unused, Very Fine
1871, $2.00 Red Brown, 1hhd., Beer (REA29; Priester 30A). Large margins to full, cancelled by neat strike of blue "D. Jones, Sixth St. Bet. Ave. B & C, Oct. 21, 1872" double-circle datestamp, light crease, some soiling, still Very Fine and attractive example of this issue used at David Jones Brewery in New York, at the time of his death in 1881 Jones was one of the largest brewers in the country, ex "Scarsdale" and Inman
San Francisco Match Co., 12c Blue, Silk Paper (RO165b). Choice centering, deep rich color, small thin spot, appears Very Fine, an attractive example of this beautiful issue, ex Tolman
D. S. Barnes, 4c Vermilion, Old Paper (RS17a). Bright color, creases and couple small tears, perf faults, otherwise Fine, Aldrich records 24, nearly all of which have faults, we have yet to offer a fault-free example
Lyon Manufacturing Co., 1c Black, USIR Watermark, Imperforate (RS167i). Large margins all around, intense shade on bright paper, Extremely Fine, the Aldrich census lists only three unused pairs imperforate, this is a new discovery single, with 2024 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98)
ADDENDA: The Aldrich census lists three imperf between pairs of the 2C, and none of the 1c.
Scheetz's Celebrated Bitter Cordial, 4c Black, Silk Paper, Perforated (RS210b). Crisp impression, Fine, scarce in sound condition, only 39 recorded in Aldrich census
Revenue Accumulation. Many hundreds of items, mainly 19th century, including a strong showing of Match & Medicine Stamps, also first issue with better handstamp cancels, various other odds and ends, most were purchased individually or in small groups from internet dealers and never mounted or organized in any way, mixed condition, our estimate is undoubtedly conservative, as it takes into account the time and effort to properly organize it for resale
