2c Carmine Rose, White Plains Souvenir Sheet (630). Mint N.H., unusually choice centering, fresh and Extremely Fine, with 2023 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90; unpriced in SMQ), this is the highest grade awarded and is shared by two others
1½c Yellow Brown, Rotary Press Imperforate, Without Gum Breaker Ridges (631 var). Seven blocks of four, including center block with crossed gutter and dashes, three with horizontal gutters, three with vertical gutters, four showing dashes in margin, several including first Mint N.H., large margins, Very Fine set showing all of the collectible positions, accompanied by normal set for comparison, Scott value $1,755 as all Mint N.H.
7c Black, Vertical Pair, Imperforate Between (639a). Mint N.H. with left selvage, fresh and Very Fine, quite scarce, according to Gary Griffith, this variety was first reported in 1939, the postmaster in a small town near Cleveland was annoyed that several panes had some rows of perforations missing, he cut some apart by hand and then gave up, throwing them in a box which was later purchased by a stamp collector, rumored to be Karl Koslowski (of Scott 314A fame), it is believed that about 20 pairs and two blocks of four were purchased, with 1991 P.S.E. and P.F. certificates
5c Dark Blue, Hawaii Ovpt. (648). Mint N.H., mathematically perfect centering, rich color, Extremely Fine Gem, ex Henson, with 2009 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100), the highest grade awarded and shared by only seven others
2c Edison, Coil (656). Mint N.H. joint line pair, uncharacteristically well-centered with wide margins, Extremely Fine Gem, ex "Clipper City", with 2007 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98), only one line pair grades higher (at 100) and six share this lofty grade
1c-10c Kans., Nebr. Overprints (658-679). Complete sets of plate no. blocks of four, 6c Kans. with backstamp and 7c Nebr. single hinge mark, all others Mint N.H., fresh and Fine-Very Fine sets, rarely offered with so many in Mint N.H. condition

Complete sets of plate no. blocks of four, the Kansas set is Mint N.H. except for the 3c and 10c (two stamps in the 10c hinged), the 2c has some slight soiling, the Nebraska set is Mint N.H. except for the 2c and 10c, the 10c hinged only in the selvage, bright colors, Very Fine and attractive sets

Complete sets of plate no. blocks of four, for the Kansas set the 4c, 5c, 6c and 7c are Mint N.H., the 10c has Mint N.H. stamps but is hinged in selvage, two stamps are Mint N.H. for the rest of the set, for the Nebraska set the 1c, 6c, 9c and the key 10c are Mint N.H., the 5c and 7c with Mint N.H. stamps but hinged in selvage, two stamps Mint N.H. for 1.5c and 8c, bright colors, Very Fine and attractive sets, Scott value exceeds $7,000

Set of Mint N.H. singles, each P.S.E. graded Gem 100 Jumbo, cut from sheets to show large portions of adjoining stamps on all sides, Extremely Fine Gems, also includes No. 769 from the souvenir sheet, graded Gem 100 (only because it has a sheet margin and P.S.E. does not give 100J grades to such positions), total SMQ $935

½c-50c 1938 Presidential and Later Complete Panes (803-831, 942/1039). Mint N.H. panes of 100, first group is the Presidential Issue, 1/2c-50c (803-831), fresh and Very Fine set, no doubt some high-grade singles could be located in these panes, also includes panes up to 1955 including Nos. 942, 1002-1006, 1018, 1030 (two), 1031, 1031b, 1031A (three), 1032 (two), 1033 (two), 1034, 1035 (two), 1036 (three), 1037, 1038 (two) and 1039 (two), Scott value for the Presidential panes as singles is $3,310, the other panes add an additional approximately $800 as singles

Roland E. Rustad states in his book The Prexies that only twelve plate blocks of this distinctive color error are recorded (p. 329).
