Bottom right diagonal half, used with entire stamp and cancelled by target on buff cover to Waynesboro Penn., bisect affected from placement over edge of cover, accompanying certificate notes "extensively repaired" which mostly consists of front and back rejoined, Fine appearance, with 1989 P.F. certificate, Scott value $1,500
2c Black, Diagonal Half Used as 1c (73a). Top right diagonal half in pair with single to make up 3c rate, tied between perfs by manuscript "X", with matching "Benvenue Pa. Dec. 21, 1864" postmark on cover to Harrisburg Pa., receipt docketing at left also ties stamps, fresh and Very Fine, with 1978 P.F. certificate, Scott value $1,500
2c Black, Diagonal Half Used as 1c (73a). Bottom left diagonal half in vertical pair with full stamp, tied across the cut by light strike of Penn. circular datestamp on buff cover to Huntingdon Pa., missing part of top flap, Very Fine, with clear 1955 and 2016 P.F. certificates, Scott value $1,500
2c Black, Diagonal Half Used as 1c (73a). Top right diagonal half in pair with normal stamp and tied across the cut by neat "Palmyra Pa. Apr. 26" circular datestamp with day in manuscript, on buff cover to Norristown Penn., left stamp with large tear which just extends into margin of bisect stamp, missing backflap, Very Fine appearance, ex Curtis, with 1960 (clear) and 2016 P.F. certificates, Scott value $1,500
2c Black, Horizontal Half Used as 1c (73c). Top half in vertical pair with normal stamp, tied by indistinct cancels with equally indistinct circular datestamp on diminutive cover to St. Joseph Mo., Jun. 13, 1868 letter enclosure datelined at Lebanon (probably Missouri), normal stamp with short perf and small corner crease, still Very Fine and scarce bisect in this format, Scott value $3,500
2c Black, Vertical Half Used as 1c (73d). Left half, used with normal 2c, both cancelled by small manuscript lines, "Mifflinburg Pa. Aug. 31" circular datestamp on orange-buff cover to Pa. town, original letter enclosure datelined Aug. 30, 1864, cover with long vertical tear at left and edge faults, otherwise Fine, with 2017 P.F. certificate, Scott value $2,000
2c Black, Vertical Half Used as 1c (73d). Right half in pair with normal stamp, manuscript cancels with matching "S. Bombay Mar. 16" postmark on yellow cover to Ingraham N.Y., normal stamp with perf faults at top from affixing over the edge of the cover, still Fine, with 2017 P.F. certificate, Scott value $2,000
2c Black, Vertical Half Used as 1c (73d). Left half, in pair with full stamp, tied by bold strike of "State Line Mass. Sep. 3" double-circle datestamp on cover to Floyd N.Y., neat "Due 2" handstamp, some toning affects stamps, some wear, still Fine, marked due 2c for non-recognition of bisect, ex Mackey, with 1976 P.F. certificate, Scott value $2,000
2c Black, E. Grill, Vertical Half Used as 1c (87b). Left half, used with normal 2c and tied by Pumpkin Face fancy cancel with "Phila Pa. Mar. 26" duplex datestamp on yellow cover to Willow Grove Pa., bisect with tiny scuff, normal stamp with clipped corner at bottom right, backflap tear barely extends to front at top, still Fine and most unusual combination of a fancy cancel and bisect use, ex Haub, Scott value $2,000
2c Black, E. Grill, Horizontal Half Used as 1c (87c). Bottom half, tied by quartered cork cancel with "Greenwich Ct. Jan. ?" circular datestamp on unsealed drop cover, Greenwich & Rye Steamboat Company annual meeting announcement enclosure dated Jan. 4, 1869, mathematical notations at left, stamp has some additional brown ink at left which matches a couple small smears elsewhere on the cover, Very Fine and rare solo use of a horizontal bisect, ex Col. McClellan and Faust, with 1981 P.F. certificate as No. 87a, Scott value $2,000
