$1.00 Blue, 1934 Hunting Permit (RW1). Mint N.H. complete pane of 28 with plate no. F 129201 at top, natural straight edge at left and bottom, lacking only selvage at right and selvage above top left stamp, usual natural gum bends, few natural gum creases including one affecting left column
FINE-VERY FINE. AN EXTREMELY RARE COMPLETE PANE OF 28 OF THE FIRST FEDERAL HUNTING PERMIT ISSUE, SCOTT RW1, WITH TOP PLATE NUMBER.
Nos. RW1 thru RW12 were issued in panes of 28. Selvage is found at either top or bottom and on one side; nine stamps have a natural straight edge on one side, and one has a natural straight edge on two sides. Plate numbers are found at either top or bottom. We have offered only three panes with selvage on two sides, and all were from the bottom position. We are aware of perhaps a half dozen that are lacking side selvage.

$1.00-$7.50 1934-1986 Hunting Permits, Accompanied by Artist Signatures (RW1-RW53). Beautiful leather Godden album with a separate page for each stamp, RW1 is on two pages and includes a Mint N.H. single and form 3333 signed but without a stamp and second page with original signed drawing of a farmer by Ding Darling, each subsequent issue is on a page with beautiful hand drawing mirroring the design on the stamp and also with a gold bordered card with each artist's signature, each page also gives information on the engravers, plates used and quantity sold, the drawings on the pages are unsigned, also includes a page with a certificate of purchase from 1959 stamp printed by National Wildlife Federation
VERY FINE. A PHENOMENAL COLLECTION OF THE FIRST 53 FEDERAL HUNTING PERMIT ISSUES, ACCOMPANIED BY SIGNATURES OF THE ARTISTS AND EACH ON A PAGE WITH A LOVELY DRAWING MIRRORING THE THEME OF THE STAMP. SURELY THIS IS A UNIQUE HOLDING AND WAY OF DISPLAYING THESE ISSUES. TRULY REMARKABLE.
Ex Prager. Scott value of $6,231 for just the stamps in Mint N.H. condition does not take into account the original Ding Darling signed drawing, the RW1 form 3333, the artist's signatures on gold bordered cards or the original drawings on each album page.
