Accumulation. Varied assortment of stamps from all facets of United States philately, with 19th century, 20th century, Back-of-Book including Carriers & Locals, Confederate States, Possessions, covers, etc., mixed condition and somewhat disorganized, close inspection will reveal many better items
Accumulation. Huge accumulation of many thousands of stamps, large amount of duplication mostly in glassine envelopes, largely used but unused to be found as well including block of 120 of No. 482 from the uncut 400-subject sheet, same for No. 576 with five large multiples from the 400-subject sheet capturing 18 plate blocks (Scott value just for the No. 576 stamps is more than $1,800), 45mm thick bundle of mint plate blocks of No. 703, stacks of Sipex sheets (some curled up) and other early souvenir sheets, earliest used are some Columbians and then predominantly issues from 1894 to the 1930's, also group of First Day covers including approximately 65 of Thomas Edison No. 945 dual-franked with No. 654 datestamped Milan Jun. 6, 1929 (Scott $5.00 each for No. 945), others, mixed condition obviously for such a hoard but overall useful accumulation
Modern Accumulation. With a collection of singles and panes, value is loose material, some still in original Post Office packaging, some sheets, plate blocks and strips, there are some high denomination Priority and Express Mail stamps, most (if not all) Mint N.H., Fine-Very Fine
Mostly Modern Mint Accumulation. Hundreds of plate blocks in glassines, mostly 4c-20c Commemoratives, also Air Post issues from the same time period, in varying quantities, a few earlier and used, plus two sheets of No. 906, Fine-Very Fine
19th Century Cancel Accumulation. Many hundreds in an album, stock pages, folders and loose, the vast majority off-cover but a few covers present as well, we note as early as 1851 issue, some 1861 and a few 1869, but the preponderance are Bank Note issues, wide variety of cancels with many colored, geometrics, etc., mixed condition, overall Fine
Small Accumulation. Most of the value in modern mint sheets and panes, including a $5.00 pane of twenty, some mint singles, used high values, and a few earlier items, mostly Mint N.H. and Fine-Very Fine
Balance, 1847-20th Century. Stock pages of unused and used stamps and a few proofs, including proofs Nos. 3P4-4P4, 40P4-47P4, used Nos. 12, 14, 15, 17, 30A, 37, 38, 67, 71, 72, 75, few better Grills, such as 100 and 101, 118, 120-122, nice selection of Bank Notes, 212-218, 263, 278, 292, unused Nos. 39, 293, also includes a used G.B. Penny Black, some faults, some Fine-Very Fine, a worthwhile group worth close inspection
Dealer Balance, 1847-1930. More than 190 stamps or small groups of stamps on dealer 104B cards, begins with 1847 No. 1 (pen cancel) and goes through 20th Century and Air Post, plus a bit more back-of-book, the vast majority are unused with original gum, just the earlier classic issues are used, mixed condition especially on the earlier issues, overall many useful stamps are present, see our website PDF including a consignor spreadsheet listing the Scott numbers, consignor estimate of Scott value is approximately $20,000
Classic Balance, 1847-95. Selection of better stamps on dealer stock pages, begins with handstamp canceled No. 1, also includes Nos. 31, 69, 72, 85B (unusual blue cancel), 88 (unused), 95, unused Nos. 112 (pair), 116 and 117 (two), Jumbo used No. 118 but with a small tear, used Nos. 120, 121(two) and 122 (two), 50c and two $1.00 original gum First Bureaus, No. 278 used, mixed condition with flaws to be expected and some unused are regummed, overall Fine appearing balance with lots of better stamps, Scott value in excess of $18,000, see our website PDF for a complete scan
Dealer Balance, 19th and 20th Century. More than 70 stamps or small groups of stamps on dealer stock pages in a binder, the early classics are mostly used and then unused beginning with Bank Notes, some better stamps including used Nos. 72 (two), 120, 121 (two), unused Nos. 241 and 243 (both glazed gum), lots of other stamps in the low hundreds Scott value, mixed condition especially on the earlier issues, overall many useful stamps are present, see our website PDF including a consignor spreadsheet listing the Scott numbers, consignor estimate of Scott value exceeds $20,000
Balance. Small group containing a variety of items, including C18 plate block, two sets of C13-C15 singles unused, pane of No. 905, also large group of Bank Note stamps with a range of cancels, some faults, some Fine-Very Fine
Classic Balance, 1841-61. Approximately 17 stamps, mostly used but a few appear unused as well, including Nos. 9X1 forgery, 1, 7 (plate crack), 12, 18, 22, 28 (two), 29, 32, 37P5, several No. 37 including two apparently unused, 75, 77 apparently unused, mixed condition with some faults to be found, overall Fine or appear so, six certificates accompany, dealer's prices on the sales cards are many multiples of our estimate
Classic Balance, 1845-60. 28 mostly used stamps on a stock page, including 9X1, 10X1 (two unused), 1 (two), 12, 13-15, 17, 28 and 30A, with duplication of 10c 1855, 12c 1851 and 5c 1860, very mixed condition with faults ranging from small to major, some appear Fine, three certificates accompany, Scott value exceeds $9,000
Balance, 1893-1930s. Album pages with mostly commemoratives, including Nos. 230-245, 285-293, 294-299, 323-330, 367-373, 397-404, 467 single error in strip of three, same format for 505, 630, 678-679, few Air Post such as C1-C6, C18 and C10a complete booklet, also C1 plate block, high denomination Columbians no gum but 292 and 293 with gum, few faults, overall appear Fine-Very Fine
Classics Balance. Old-time collection on Scott album pages stopping at Scott 216, including used 62B, 69, 71, 72, 76, 97, 99, 100, 101, 116, 117, 119, 120 (2), 122, 138, unused including No. 190, generally defective, few appear Fine
Classic Proof and Stamp Small Balance. Five items, proofs include 5c 1847 trial color No. 1TC3b and 5c 1856 No. 12TC5 in Red Brown (which is often mistaken for an unused No. 12), stamps include used No. 28, unused No. 37, finally a piece with five No. 73 affixed overlapping and tied together by "Paid" in lozenge cancel, Fine group
Unused Group. Mix of original gum stamps on two stock pages, including Nos. 26, 63, 73, 112-113, Bank Notes and some Washington-Franklins, also four plate blocks (couple Mint N.H.) and ten blocks of four of No. 373, the classics in mixed condition with gum, centering and or condition issues, Fine-Very Fine appearance
Balance, 1851-1902. Including used Nos. 7, 9, 18, 20, 35 (with captured part imprint), 73, 93 and 121, these classics with neat cancels and sound, Fine-Very Fine, unused includes Nos. 294-299, Mint N.H. except for 4c and 10c lightly hinged, also extra Mint N.H. No. 296 with corner selvage (slight toning at edge of selvage), finally Mint N.H. plate block of No. 300, selvage with minor crease, Very Fine
Classic Cover Balance. Two groups, the first is where most of the value lies with a dozen from 1851-61, in this group there are slightly better including two-color 1861 issue covers to Germany, Belgium, France and Canada, few small faults, overall Fine, second group is in a binder and includes stampless thru Bank Notes with largely 3c covers, this group is in rough shape and merely a bonus to our estimate for the first group, our website PDF shows scans for the first group only
Collection Balance. Scott Platinum album pages of unused stamps, including Nos. 230-236, 289-290, 294-299, 323-330, 397-402, C1-C6, Q6-Q12, some Washington-Franklins including few coils, some faults, overall Fine-Very Fine
20th Century Balance. Original gum stamps on dealer stock pages, regular issues include Nos. 294-299, some Washington-Franklins including a number of dollar values and some blocks, later 20th Century with Nos. 551-573, Air Post with heavy duplication of C1-C6, including blocks, plate block of C18, a few Air Post errors, No. RW35 artist signed in selvage, a handful of Revenues including R102c, some flaws to be expected but overall decent condition with a solid amount of Mint N.H., consignor estimated Scott value exceeds $23,000, though there was a tendency to call some stamps Mint N.H. that are not, so we believe it will be less, still solid catalogue value which is many multiples of our estimate, see our website PDF for a complete scan
20th Century Balance. Mostly Mint N.H. group of singles, blocks and plate blocks on dealer pages, a number of mid to better Scott numbers, overall fresh condition, see our website PDF for the complete group, total dealer prices sum to approximately $5,400
Back-of-Book Balance. Wide range of stamps on a stock and album pages, mostly used with some unused, includes Air Post $1.30 and $2.60 Graf Zeppelin (C14-C15), some Special Delivery and Postage Due used, Offices in China to No. K14 with original gum, Officials including used Executive Nos. O11-O14 (10c catalogues $1,000), unused Agriculture Nos. O3-O9 (mostly no gum or regummed except O9 original gum), used Justice including Nos. O31-O34 (two of each, the 90c catalogue $900 each), couple large format Newspapers, Hunting Permits including Mint N.H. No. RW1, Savings stamps including a plate block of PS6, single WS2, some Possessions including Guam Nos. 10-12 and Hawaii 29S, mixed condition with some faults or centering issues to be found but overall a useful group, catalogue value exceeds $11,000
Back-of-Book Balance. Solid group of unused stamps on dealer pages, encompassing Postage Dues, Offices in China, Officials, Newspapers and Parcel Post, also a couple others, mostly original gum though a few Officials are regummed, decent condition with some faults noted on sales cards, several P.F. certificates accompany, we recommend viewing the linked website PDF for the full group, which will be more illustrative than a list, dealer retail prices sum to approximately $8,000
Booklet Panes, 1908-16 (331a/462a). 24 booklet panes on stock pages, neatly labeled by the collector including positions and watermark orientations, ten are plate number positions, original gum with some Mint N.H., Fine-Very Fine, Scott value exceeds $3,000
Collection, 1847-1975. In a Scott hingeless album, some high cataloguing used 19th century stamps, from 1881 onward it is mostly unused, Commemoratives complete, including the Columbian and Trans-Mississippi issues, Bureau issues to $5.00 unused or used, various Washington-Franklins including coils, nearly complete from 1922 onward, Air Post, Postage Due, and other Back-of-Book issues, mixed condition, many Fine-Very Fine, twelve certificates accompany
Collection, 1847-1933. Three albums, begins with Scott No. 1 (faulty), used 19th Century with 1c-15c 1869 Pictorials, Columbians with mix of used and unused to 30c, plus 50c and $4.00 unused, Pan-Americans unused, 20th Century includes a number of early booklet panes, White Plains sheet, Back-of-Book with two large format Newspapers, range of Revenues and tax paids, overall very mixed condition
Collection, 1851-1981. Four albums, 19th Century mostly used with a mix of issues from 1851-67, 1869 Pictorials to 15c, Columbians unused to 10c plus used 50c, unused thereafter with a range of Washington-Franklins, modern issues including recalled Legends of the West pane, good showing of Back-of-Book including two sets of C1-C6, C10a, C13-C15 Graf Zeppelin set (lightly hinged), range of Air Post plate blocks, Officials card proof set complete, Newspapers card proofs, range of Revenues, mixed condition on the early issues but overall a solid collection
Collection, 1935-2012. In seven Schaubek hingeless albums, very high degree of completion for the period, includes some panes from the early 2000s, virtually all Mint N.H., Fine-Very Fine
Collection, 1975-2022. Nine Schaubeck albums with slip covers, virtually complete for period covered including souvenir sheets, fresh and Very Fine-Extremely Fine, an excellent opportunity to acquire these later issues in one place
Straight Edge Collection, 1890-1928. Many dozens of used stamps on quadrille pages, low values from 1890 thru 1902 and Back-of-Book, each showing a straight edge and some collected and arranged to show the corners and edges of a plate, nothing valuable but we note some catalogue prices up to $12.50 per stamp, mixed condition, overall Fine
Back-of-Book Collection. Extensive and valuable unused collection on album pages, the vast majority original-gum, Air Post including C1-C6 and the Graf Zeppelin set C13-C15, Special Delivery complete, Postage Due largely complete to J67, Parcel Post and Parcel Post Postage Due complete, Offices in China complete, solid range of Newspapers and Periodicals, Hunting Permits complete to 1971, also some Confederate States, mostly good condition with a few small condition or gum issues, overall Fine-Very Fine
Dealer Stock, 1847-1930. Valuable stock on sales pages in four small binders, mix of used and unused, there are some misidentified stamps and on some of the most egregious examples we crossed out the Scott number, but what remains includes numerous better stamps, some highlights include four No 1, Nos. 2, 83, 85B, 85E, 119-122 with duplication on some, Bank Note grills, Columbians including unused 50c (three) and $1.00 + $3.00, also used $1.00 and two $2.00, Trans-Mississippi issue unused imprint single $1.00 and two used $1.00, range of Washington-Franklins including coils with No. 449, also Nos. 467 (two), 505 (two) and others, Back-of-Book with C13-C15 plus additional C14, unused Hunting Permits collection and more, mixed condition with faults to be expected on the classic issues, overall a useful stock with better stamps, see our website PDF for a complete scan

Errors and Freaks, Small Balance. Including complete booklet of four panes of No. 2764b ($540 catalogue value), No. 2718aP imperforate block (listed as a proof), finally No. C98A plate block of twelve with dramatic color shift, Very Fine group
Mint N.H. Graded Balance. Approximately 133 Mint N.H. stamps, most with P.S.E.-graded certificates but a few from P.F. also included, starts with Scott 285 and goes thru 1157, five are graded 85 or below and others are graded from 85J to 100J, virtually all have SMQ values at $50 or above with highest at $275, 75 have SMQ values at $100 or above, a fresh and Very Fine-Extremely Fine group, spreadsheet with details is available at our website, SMQ value approximately $15,245

Superb 98 Graded Balance. 25 Mint N.H. stamps all graded Superb 98, including Nos. 532, 627, 655, 656, rich colors, Extremely Fine Gems, an attractive group, each with P.S.E. graded certificate from 2004-2025, spreadsheet showing SMQ values is available at our website
High Grade Balance. 76 Mint N.H. stamps each with graded P.S.E. certificate, all are graded XF-Superb 95 and above, including the following at 95: 455, 504, 508, 509, 585, 590, 612, 616, some graded higher such as 314 NH 98J, 410 NH 95J, each with a graded P.S.E. certificate from 2006-2012, the certificates were laminated by a previous owner, Extremely Fine Gem group, spreadsheet accompanies with breakdown of SMQ values

Four mint sheet files plus few loose, including panes of Nos. 614, 617, 618, 627,630, 632, 634, 635-637, 644, 646, 650, 670, 680-683, 588, 690, 704-709, 713, 714, 718, 719, 740-749, 803-820, 832c with bottom double plate nos., Famous Americans complete, 906, Overrun Countries, Air Post including C19, C25-C31, few other better, overall fresh and Fine-Very Fine, an attractive group
Plate Blocks and Multiples Collection. Massive collection in 12 Palo albums plus three other albums and some loose pages, including Nos. 367-368, 370-373, 401, 537, 548-550, 581-591, 620, 632-642 (less 634A), Presidentials complete to $5.00, Air Post including C7-C9, C16-C21, C23 onwards is mostly complete, E14-E23, some Postage Dues such as J79-J87 and J88-J104, several volumes are more modern issues where face value will add up quickly, some volumes are souvenir sheets or complete sheets, also three uncut World Stamp Expo 2000 Space Achievement and Exploration sheets, selected by the owner for superior condition, overall Very Fine-Extremely Fine, a very nice collection
Plate Block Collection, 1935-86. Two Liberty albums with Mint N.H. plate blocks plus some loose, the best is part of the 1938 Presidential set, some missing but complete from 50c to $5.00, continues to 1986 including $5.00 Hamilton No. 1053 and Back-of-Book, also includes an additional album with mint singles from 1936 to 1960's, again with Nos. 834 and 1054, some of these singles with toned spot on edge but not the dollar values mentioned, overall Very Fine collection
Multiples Balance. Eight original gum multiples, including imprint and plate no. blocks of Nos. 214 (major perf separations), 230, 294-295 (both Mint N.H.), 329, 333 and C.S.A. No. 11d, also arrow pair of No. 524 (Mint N.H.), mostly Fine with some Very Fine
Multiples Balance, 1890-1920. Group of strips or blocks, mix of Mint N.H. and hinged, including Nos. 219 and 220 imprint and plate no. strips of seven (1c some separations), No. 231 block of four with imprint and part of plate no. (one stamp small thin), No. 264 imprint and plate no. strip of three, No. 267 plate block of six, No. 295 imprint and plate no. strip, No. 299 block of four, few 1909 imperforate large blocks, others, overall Very Fine
Face Value Postage. Massive hoard of panes and booklets as purchased from the post office over several decades, face value ranges from 1c to significantly higher — we saw panes of $14.40, $17.50, $18.30 and $19.55 — also contains at least 225 panes and booklets of Forever stamps (some are Global), a few other better are also included such as Nos. 1295, 1611 and 1612, virtually all housed in 15 mint sheet files, also five tubes with uncut press sheets, also including a few First Days or cancelled panes (not counted), also not counted are panes with special rates such as "G" or modern 2 ounce panes, apart from the sizable face value there are also many that would fit into topical collections
VERY FINE. A PHENOMENAL HOLDING OF PANES AND BOOKLETS AND ALSO SOME UNCUT PRESS SHEETS, WITH A WIDE RANGE OF DENOMINATIONS, ISSUES AND THEMES.
