1942-2007 Hunting Permits, Remarqued or Artist Signed. (RW9/RW74). Two groups of items, first is 22 singles and one sheet of stamps, each with wonderful remarque drawings in plate no. selvage and over the design of the stamps, the sheet is RW72, plus one Junior Duck plate block and a few state issues remarqued, a few years show duplication and of course not all years are present for the range, Very Fine and gorgeous group, second group is approximately 18 stamps or blocks with just the artist's signature, this group is also Very Fine and desirable, we recommend viewing our website PDF

A BEAUTIFUL MOUNTED COLLECTION OF 1934-2006 FEDERAL DUCK STAMPS WITH PLATE NUMBER SELVAGE, MOUNTED IN STEARNS AND FINK ALBUMS.
This is a fresh set of stamps and very desirable in the Stearns and Fink albums, which contain a wealth of information for the Duck stamp collector, including data and pricing for artist prints. Dealer prices for the blank albums alone are several hundred dollars. The stamps, without premium for the plate numbers, catalog more than $6,500.
1934-2007 Hunting Permits, Accumulation (RW1/RW74). Accumulation of mostly unused stamps on dealer/auction sheets, useful duplication of early including RW1 (seven, ranging from N.H. to no gum and two used), RW2 (four original gum, two plate no. selvage), RW3 (ten Mint N.H. plus nine hinged, many with plate no. selvage), RW4 (five Mint N.H. and two hinged), RW5 (two Mint N.H. and one hinged), others from RW6-RW9, from there continues with more duplication such as fourteen RW25, four of the RW51x Special Printing (each with P.F. certificate), some later issues including six of the RW57a back printing omitted, also some artist signed souvenir cards and RW73A-RW74A imperforate pairs, overall Very Fine and extensive balance worth review, Scott value exceeds $14,000

Federal Hunting Permits on Licenses. Large group of more than 150 licenses, includes at least three RW1 and several other early issues, some have additional state stamps, condition is very mixed as usual for these, Fine and interesting collection, Sam Houston Duck Co. values on the cards exceed $3,000
Federal and State Hunting Permits, First Day Covers. Several different groups or collections of covers, the most appealing in our opinion are the first two groups which include about 15 on Sam Houston Duck Co. individual lot cards with prices up to $250, colorful First Day uses and quite attractive, binder of 19 unaddressed First Days with beautiful hand-painted cachets (retail $950 on this group), several other small collections are also included with a few dozen more covers, including some Worldwide Duck Conservations stamp First Days, RS54-RW64 binder of 25 First Day covers, etc., overall Very Fine and colorful, our website PDF highlights the first two mentioned groups
Junior Duck Stamps, Balance (JDS1/JDS15). Group of singles, blocks and a couple sheets, some of the singles and a block are artist signed and a couple graded, one JDS15 shows a printing flaw, Very Fine, SCV exceeds $1,500
California Hunting Permits, Balance. Group with duplication of the early issues, including six No. CA1 on original backing, CA2 on backing to which it is probably reattached, CA2 unused without backing or gum (two, one faulty), CA2 on a license with Federal Nos. RW38 and RW39, couple other CA2 on licenses, CA1-CA2 on part of a license, used CA1-CA2, four CA5 on paper without lines, one later, Fine-Very Fine, SCV more than $6,000
State Hunting Permits, Accumulation. Substantial and strong accumulation of stamps on Sam Houston Duck Co. lot cards, alphabetically by state and including a many better items, both Duck stamps and some other wildlife stamps, we recommend viewing our website PDF to appreciate this lot but to mention a few highlights, 1983 Alabama Turkey issue with inverted Turkey and another with what is more accurately inverted printing (based on the plate number selvage), Iowa 1972 imperforate block, Kansas Marion County 1954 sheet, Minnesota 1957 in a plate no. pair and a block, Nebraska 1991 sheet of ten signed by Governor Nelson, New York 1985 plate block of four with color shift, New York 1987 sheet of 30 each signed (folded), North Carolina 1983 sheet and plate block, North Dakota 1982 pair, Pennsylvania 1984 imperforate pair, South Carolina 1981 sheet of 30 and plate block, South Dakota 1978 Bennett County, loads of better Tennessee including 1980 intact sheet of three licenses with Nos. 5-7 attached, many others not mentioned, also some British Columbia and others miscellaneous, overall a strong group, Sam Houston's listed Scott values add up to approximately $39,000
