Bright shade, cleaned-plate impression, we would call this Brown Orange but offered as the less expensive Orange Brown, large margins to clear at bottom, blue "WAY 6" in double-circle with fleurons waterway handstamp of Mobile, Alabama, Very Fine and rare strike of this waterway marking on the 1847 Issue, with 1989 P.F. certificate on piece, calling the stamp "Brown" (we think they mistakenly left off the "Orange")
