1c Green, Rotary (578). Mint N.H., unusually choice centering for this difficult issue with balanced margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2013 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $800), only two grade higher
2c Carmine, Perf 10 (583). Mint N.H., exceptional centering with wide margins, bright color, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2014 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $1,000)
4c Yellow Brown, Coil (601). Mint N.H., mathematically perfect centering and Jumbo margins which are extremely unusual on a rotary coil, deep rich color, Extremely Fine Gem, a superb stamp in every respect, with 2023 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100 Jumbo; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 98), this is the highest grade possible and the only Scott 601 in any format or gum condition to achieve it (single, pair or joint line pair), the next highest grade for a single is 98, in fact there are no other Jumbo grades in the P.S.E. Population Report for Scott 601 at any grade level, this is a superb stamp for the finest graded collection
2c Carmine, Coil (606). Mint N.H. joint line pair, near perfect centering, brilliant color, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2023 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $375)
2c Black, Harding, Schermack Ty. III (611). Mint N.H. paste-up strip of four, intense shade, fresh and Very Fine, scarce as Mint N.H., with 2014 P.S.E. certificate, Scott value as hinged

Exceptional centering with beautifully balanced margins, bright color, duplex cancel, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2023 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 95), this is the highest grade awarded to a used example and it is shared by no others, the next highest is 95
4c Yellow Brown, Nebr. Ovpt. (673). Mint N.H. with bottom right corner plate no. 18038 selvage, mathematically perfect centering, rich color, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2023 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100; SMQ $1,600), this is the highest grade awarded and it is shared by only two others
1-1/2c Brown, Coil (686). Mint N.H. pair, near perfect centering, rich color, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2006 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $300), only four pairs grade higher
2c Red & Black, Red Cross (702). Mint N.H. with top plate no. 20493 selvage, essentially perfect centering with wide margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2022 P.F. certificate (Superb 98 XQ)
3c Purple, Coil (722). Mint N.H. joint line pair, essentially perfect centering, deep rich color, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2023 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $425), this is the highest grade awarded to a joint line pair
