Jun. 7, 1926 11PM" duplex datestamp on back, one stamp at right of top strip with minor crease, overall very choice condition for a small cover that is almost completely filled by stamps, Very Fine use, ex Getlan, Scott value for three used strips off cover is $1,050.00

II in the Carmine color is only known with Schermack Type III perforations, we have encountered only approximately six covers, the Farwell Company used Schermack affixing machines and at first Schermack coils, before creating their own coils in a cost-saving effort, ex Getlan, with 2003 P.F. certificate
2c Carmine, Schermack Ty. III, Compound Perfs 13 (409). Normal Schermack Ty. III perfs with additional perfs measuring approximately 13, tied by "Mount Vernon N.Y. Aug. 23 2-PM 1915" waving flag machine cancel on cover to Paterson N.J., small piece out at top of cover, Very Fine, rare used on cover, these varieties are discussed in the Belasco book (pp. 52-53), there are varying theories as to why or how they were produced, but whatever the correct explanation they are rare, ex Howard and Getlan
3c Violet, Ty. II, Schermack Ty. III, Compound Perf 13 (484). Normal Schermack Ty. III perfs with additional perfs measuring approximately 13, tied by "New York N.Y. Jun. 6 6:30PM 1918" machine cancel on glassine window cover, the glassine with some toning, Very Fine and very rare, these varieties are discussed in the Belasco book (pp. 52-53), there are varying theories as to why or how they were produced, but whatever the correct explanation they are rare, ex Getlan
