Three-ring binder containing a fantastic group of stamps, including imperforate, part perforated and perforated, including R5a double transfer, R19a (3), R33a, R36a, R40a pair, R41a, R64a (4), R71a, R81a, R82a, R85a, R86a (2), R88a, R90a, R91a, R94a, R98a, R101a (2), part perf includes R24b pair, R37b strip of three, perforated includes R16c block of six, R17c (2), R29c block of four, R74c, R79c (2), R83c (2), R97c, R98c (2 plus pair), R101c (4, one misperfed), nice group in Ultramarine such as R97f, some faults but generally selected by the owner for overall eye appeal, a Fine-Very Fine and very worthwhile collection
First Issue Experimental Silk Papers. Stock pages with a 54 items identified by a knowledgeable owner as being on experimental silk paper, his eyesight may be better than ours as we did not see silk papers on some but definitely do on others, we do see some fibers on R89d and at least one R98d and one R100d, some faults, some Fine-Very Fine, offered on their own merits
Revenues Collection. Comprehensive collection of Revenues on Scott album pages offered intact as received, including Silver Tax, Stock Transfer, fantastic array of red Documentary issues, better including R434, R651 with handstamp cancel, RD88, RD89, RD114, RD162, RD310, RD311, RG79, RG80, several other better, some cut cancels but we didn't see any perf cancels, some faults, some Fine-Very Fine, several better items with certificates, owner's catalogue value $37,620, we strongly suggest viewing the website PDF

Private Die Proprietary Experimental Silk Papers. Attractive group on stock pages of Private Die match and Medicine stamps mostly identified by a knowledgeable collector as being on experimental silk paper, we do detect silk fibers on some but others may benefit from better eyesight than ours or from some creative imagination, a few are identified as double transfers which we also had difficulty seeing in many cases, however some are undoubtedly correctly identified, some faults, some Fine-Very Fine, offered on its own merits but this may yield some pleasant surprises for the studious collector
$1.00 Brown Carmine, 1941 Hunting Permit (RW8). Mint N.H. and with top plate no. 146271 selvage, essentially perfectly centered, fresh color and detailed impression, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2022 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98), only two examples grade higher (highest is 100)
$3.00 1971 Hunting Permit (RW38). Mint N.H., perfect centering and margins, rich colors, fresh and bright, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2010 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100), this is the highest grade awarded
Hunting Permits Collection.
