FINE-VERY FINE. A RARE IMPRINT AND PLATE NUMBER STRIP OF THREE OF THE PHILIPPINES 1903 $2.00 ISSUE, SCOTT 238.
Only 695 were sold, and imprint and plate number multiples are rare. Only five full plate blocks are known (two top and three bottom). This strip is a very affordable alternative; this is also the only imprint and plate number strip we have offered since keeping computerized records.

VERY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL AND SCARCE SOUND ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 6-CENTAVOS DARK BROWN "VICTORY" OVERPRINT.
Only 206 were produced. Each of the few examples we have offered over the last 20 years had tropicalized gum or interleaving adhering to the gum. The census compiled by Geoffrey Brewster and published in Possessions lists 47 known examples. This is only the second we have offered since 2013.

Adhering to interleaving, bright color, Fine, only 122 stamps were overprinted and only 71 examples are recorded in the Brewster census, most are found with faults to some degree and/or a straight edge on at least one side, this sound example with perforations all around is desirable, with 1963 P.F. certificate
