CANAL ZONE, 1924, 5c-1b Coat of Arms, Unissued Set, Red "Specimen" Ovpt. (68 var-69 var). Complete set of nine values, including the issued 1c and 2c, each with security hole punch, Mint N.H., rich colors, four (12c, 24c, 50c, and 1b) the dropped "E" variety, Very Fine and choice, scarce as only 600 sets were not destroyed, according to Canal Zone Stamps, these values were never issued as a decision was made to use U.S. stamps overprinted "Canal Zone" starting July 1, 1924

Complete page from a Roosevelt presentation album, page is slightly reduced but retains large margins around all the proofs, No. E2P2 with some slight toning or soiling, still Very Fine and scarce full page, only 85 albums were produced
