Large margins to in at left, used with U.S. 12c Black (17), full margins to just in at right, tied by light strike of red circular datestamp and also by San Francisco circular datestamp on small piece, 5c stamp lifted and put back on piece and with fault at bottom, otherwise Fine and scarce combination use, the combination cover with these two catalogues $9,000
1861, 5c Blue, Thin Bluish Wove (9). Two, large margins to barely touched, tied by grids, red "Honolulu U.S. Postage Paid Jul. 8" circular datestamp on part of cover front only to Oakland Cal., used with U.S. 5c Brown (76), tied by target cancel, part of San Francisco circular datestamp at right, piece with few faults, there was probably a second U.S. 5c stamp at right to make double rate, Fine and unusual, the combination use on a full cover catalogues $7,000 on cover in Scott

Plate 3-Gx, Type VIII (Westerberg Position 8), large margins but this is partly due to expert repairs at top and bottom adding part of margins (expertly done and not noted on certificate), Very Fine appearance, with 1997 A.P.S. certificate noting filled thin at bottom
1863, 1c Black, Grayish (15). Plate 4-B, Type VII (Westerberg Position 7), unused (no gum), large margins, couple tiny thin specks which are more of a natural characteristic of this wove paper, Extremely Fine appearance

FINE APPEARING AND RARE UNUSED EXAMPLE OF THE 1863 2-CENT DARK BLUE ON BLUISH PAPER.
The 2c Dark Blue on Bluish paper (Scott 17) was printed after Scott 18 and before Scott 20. It is one of the rarest of all Numeral Issues in either unused or used condition, and almost all known examples have small faults. With 2011 H.P.S. certificate.
1863, 2c Black, Blue Gray (18). Plate 5-A, Type I (Westerberg Position 1), unused (no gum), large margins, lower right corner reattached, thin spots, small sealed tear at upper left, otherwise Very Fine and presentable example of this scarce Numeral, with 1999 H.P.S. certificate

Plate 7-A, complete reconstruction of all ten positions, unused (no gum), including "S" of "Postage" omitted (24b), margins range from enormous to full, a couple small non-obvious flaws, overall Very Fine, accompanied by a letter from Westerberg confirming that he plated the stamps in the presence of the original buyer in 1973
