EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB SHEET-MARGIN EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT 1847 ISSUE.
With 2006 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95 Jumbo). One of only four at this grade with 11 higher.
5c Red Brown (1). Large margins to clear at top with frameline of adjoining stamp at bottom, worn-plate impression, clear strike of Canadian 7-ring target cancel indicating use of the stamp on mail from Canada, Very Fine
5c Red Brown (1). Full to large margins with portion of adjoining stamp at top, worn-plate impression, red square grid cancel, Very Fine, with 2005 P.F. certificate
5c Red Brown (1). Full even margins, worn-plate impression, light strike of magenta "PAID" cancel, Very Fine and attractive
5c Red Brown (1). Large margins to ample, intense shade and strong intermediate impression (could be early), two strikes of red "5" numeral cancel, light diagonal crease at bottom right, Very Fine appearance

5c Dark Brown, Dot in "S" (1a). Intense shade from an early impression, full margins to clear at bottom, bold central strike of red grid cancel, Fine and attractive, with 1979 P.F. certificate
5c Red Brown (1). Full margins to clear, rich color and intermediate impression, black grid cancel, Fine, with 2023 P.F. certificate
5c Brown Orange (1d). Full to large margins, cleaned-plate impression, accompanying certificate states used but we are not fully convinced, vertical crease and wrinkles, Very Fine appearance, with 2024 P.F. certificate
5c Brown Orange (1d). Large margins to full, worn-plate impression, neat strike of black grid cancel, Very Fine, with 2024 P.F. certificate
5c Red Brown, 10c Black (1-2). Six 5c and two 10c, all have four margins, one of former with right sheet margin and cancel removed, one of latter with lightened pen cancel, few other faults, otherwise Fine-Very Fine
10c Black (2). Position 21R, large to huge margins including left interpane margin, bold blue grid cancel
EXTREMELY FINE GEM. AN IMPRESSIVE SHEET-MARGIN EXAMPLE OF THE 10-CENT 1847 ISSUE.
With 2015 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90), but we feel that this sheet-margin stamp far exceeds the quality of other 10c 1847s graded 90.
