New Haven Conn., 5c Vermilion, Peets Reprint (8XU1R). 36 x 39mm, dark blue signature, affixed to card backing, vertical line of staining at bottom, still Very Fine, 30 reprints were made in 1874 for Cyrus B. Peets, the Chief Clerk for New Haven Postmaster Edward A. Mitchell, most were signed in blue
New York N.Y., 5c Black, "ACM" Initials (9X1). Positions 18-19, horizontal pair, slightly disturbed original gum, full margins to just in at top right, fine impression, minute corner creases at bottom right and bottom left, Very Fine appearance, a rare original-gum pair of the New York Postmaster's Provisional, with 2019 P.F. certificate
New York N.Y., 5c Black, "ACM" Initials (9X1). Positions 26-27, horizontal pair, unused (no gum), margins full to clear, left stamp partly broken heavy vertical crease, right stamp light corner crease not mentioned on accompanying certificate, as a single the right stamp is a lovely Very Fine appearing unused stamp, with 1982 P.F. certificate
New York N.Y., 5c Black, "ACM" Initials (9X1). Large margins to ample with trace of adjoining stamp at top, red "PAID" cancel without any pen cancel, small corner crease at top right, appears Very Fine, with copy of 2005 P.F. certificate for a pair

St. Louis, Missouri, 10c Black on Greenish (11X2). Type I, Position 2, from the top right position of the sheet, ample margins to touched at top and right, penstrokes cancel, small faults including filled thin and tiny tear, otherwise Fine example of this scarce Postmaster's Provisional issue
5c Red Brown (1). Mint N.H., bright color from the worn plate, large to full margins and clear at lower right, two tiny pinholes and horizontal crease
VERY FINE APPEARANCE. AN EXTREMELY RARE MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT 1847 ISSUE.
With 2002 P.F. certificate for a vertical pair, this the bottom stamp. Scott value as hinged.
5c Red Brown (1). Original gum, this was certified in 1972 as Orange Brown No. 1b, but slightly oxidized and we don't believe it remains Orange Brown, large margins to touched at top left, intermediate impression, faults including crease and small closed tear, otherwise Fine, with 1972 P.F. certificate as Orange Brown, Scott value as Red Brown $6,000
5c Red Brown (1). Unused (no gum), large margins to ample, intermediate impression, small pre-printing paperfold at top, Very Fine, a scarce unused stamp, with 2003 P.F. certificate
5c Red Brown (1). Worn-plate impression, large and even margins, magenta grid cancel, fresh and Extremely Fine, with 1987 and 2023 P.F. certificates (XF 90)

5c Orange Brown (1b var). Large margins to ample including part of adjoining stamp at top, intermediate impression, lovely color described on accompanying certificate as "russet brown, Ridgeway 13K Plate No. XV", red grid cancel, Very Fine and choice, an unusual shade, with 2023 P.F. certificate
5c Red Orange (1c). Large margins to clear, radiant color in the true Red Orange shade, worn-plate impression, neat manuscript "X" cancel with some additional writing at bottom
VERY FINE. A RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT 1847 ISSUE IN THE DESIRABLE RED ORANGE COLOR.
According to Wade Saadi, the Red Orange shade was produced exclusively during the last printing, stamps from which were part of the Fifth Delivery (December 7, 1850).

10c Black (2). Unused (regummed), full margins to just in at right, small thin spot top right, otherwise Fine, with 1927 R.P.S. certificate, Scott value as no-gum $12,500

10c Black (2). Large margins all around, tied to small piece by bold blue cancel, Extremely Fine, with 2022 P.S.E. certificate stating stamp lifted and reattached (irrelevant)
