A RARE AND ATTRACTIVE STRIP OF THREE OF THE 10-CENT 1847 ISSUE WITH TWO JUMBO, EXTREMELY FINE APPEARING STAMPS.

Pairs or two singles would often be used on double 10c rate covers, but strips of three, blocks of four or other large multiples were infrequently used. As an indication of the rarity of 10c 1847 multiples larger than a pair, Scott assigns a value of $3,250 for a pair, but $10,000 for a strip of three.
