1c Blue, Ty. II (20). Plate 12, attractive centering and margins, unusual small circular datestamp cancel with "1861" year date, Very Fine, with 2006 P.F. certificate
1c Blue, Ty. V, Va (24, 24 var). Two items from Plate 5, first vertical strip of three, Positions 78/88/98L5, the top stamp Type Va, circular datestamp cancels, Very Fine and desirable strip with a combination of Types V and Va, second item is single from Position 78L5, complete strike of "PAID" in circle handstamp, Very Fine
5c Brick Red (27). Centered to left, bright color, blue circular datestamp creates an unusual "halo" effect around Jefferson's portrait, Fine and attractive, P.F. certificate no. 413565 no longer accompanies
5c Brick Red (27). Intense shade and impression on bright paper, neat strike of "New Orleans La. Apr. 30, 1859" circular datestamp, fresh and Fine, with 1999 P.S.E. certificate
5c Red Brown (28). Rich color which is markedly brighter and more saturated than the standard Red Brown, we would say it approaches the Bright Red Brown (28b), blue segmented cancel of Marysville Cal., Fine, SCV as Red Brown with blue cancel
5c Red Brown (28). Horizontal pair, centered to bottom with intact perfs and portion of pair below, rich color, New Orleans circular datestamp cancel, Fine and scarce used pair, most multiples in Power Search seem to have similar centering
5c Indian Red (28A). Distinctive color in this scarce shade, face-free cancel, thins at top, appears Fine, with 2005 P.S.E. certificate
5c Brown (29). Unused (no gum), wide right interpane margin with centerline, Fine and scarce position single
5c Dark Brown (29 var). Well-centered, exceptionally intense color on bright paper, New Orleans circular datestamp cancel, Very Fine and choice example of this shade variety which is unlisted in Scott, with 2003 P.F. certificate, SCV as normal No. 29
5c Brown, Ty. II, Plate Proof on India (30P3). D Relief, large margins, bright color, horizontal crease ending in small tear at top, light vertical crease at right, still appears Very Fine, a scarce proof, with 2002 P.F. certificate
