High Cataloguing Collection. To 1978 in a Scott album, mostly unused, including the early issues, many cataloguing over $1,000 each, $1.00-$5.00 Columbian, solid Washington-Franklins including coils, in 2021 about 20 stamps were sent to The Philatelic Foundation for certificates, a few came back fake, others with faults or not the rare variety the owner was hoping for, this group includes No. 6 (pen cancel mostly removed and faults), early issues in mixed quality much of the 20th century is Fine-Very Fine, overall a valuable and saleable lot for someone who can deal with the mixed nature of this collection
Collection, 1845-1941. In a Scott album, well-filled throughout, majority used, but there is value in unused stamps, very high total catalogue value with many over $1,000, scattered are extra items, such as booklet panes and blocks, Commemoratives complete, including an original-gum corner selvage single of the $5.00 Columbian, good Back-of-Book, including Offices in China complete and a run of Hunting Permit stamps, condition mixed, vast majority with Fine-Very Fine appearance
Collection, 1847-1940. In a Scott album, 19th century mostly used, 20th century mainly unused, better cataloguing early stamps, such as No. 1, 2, 12, 23, 67, 101, 122 and more, all of the turn-of-century dollar values, with Columbians, Trans-Mississippi and first three Bureau issues complete, nice run of unused Washington-Franklins including coil pairs, well-filled from 1920 onward, Air Post including the Graf Zeppelin set, 19th century in mixed condition, much of the 20th century Fine-Very Fine, including some Mint N.H., 24 certificates accompany
Collection, 1847-1953. Single Scott National album with all stamps hinged onto the pages, used until 1880's and then almost all unused thereafter, starts with 1847 No. 1, range of 1861-68 issues, 1869 Pictorials through the 12c plus 15c Ty. II and 30c, picks up unused starting with later Bank Notes, Columbians to 50c, 1894-98 Bureaus with several dollar values, Trans-Mississippi to 50c, Pan-Americans complete, 1902 to the $2.00, Louisiana Purchase set all with bottom plate no. selvage, Panama-Pacific complete (No. 404 is used), strength in Washington-Franklins with the sheet stamps largely complete less the rarities, lots of good stamps in this category with No. 505 in a block of nine and all the dollar values, 1922 issue complete, White Plains sheet, later issues to 1950's and then a section of coils back to the Washington-Franklins, Air Post including C1-C6, Special Delivery, Offices in China and Parcel Post complete, rounds out with some cut squares and Revenues including Ducks, the early used is mixed condition but the quality is good when the unused begins, overall a Very Fine and worthwhile collection
Collection, 1851-1977. In a Liberty album, regular issues mostly used, commemoratives mostly unused, just about every space in the album filled (though it is a simplified album), some high cataloguing stamps in the 1851-69 period, Commemoratives complete, including the Columbian and Trans-Mississippi sets, high value turn of the century stamps, Back-of-Book including Officials, Newspaper stamps, and Possessions, mixed condition, inspection suggested
Collection Balance, 1847-1933. In a Scott album, early used stamps including No. 1 and 2, some high-cataloging unused 19th century, Columbian issue complete less the $4.00, unused and used Washington-Franklins including both 5c perforated errors in blocks, mixed condition, later issues include Very Fine stamps, 20 certificates accompany
Collection, 1893-1929. Unused stamps mounted on album pages, most original gum and a surprising amount of Mint N.H., including in early Commemoratives and Washington-Franklins, earliest issue is Columbians through the 50c with some Mint N.H. and some duplication, Pan-American complete with some Mint N.H., 1902 to the 50c less the 4c, Washington-Franklins including some better in the $200-$500 catalogue range, Panama-Pacific Nos. 397-403 including some Mint N.H., 1922 issue to $5.00, Air Post including Graf Zeppelin Nos. C13-C15, 65c is Mint N.H. but the other two are regummed, overall a nice quality collection

In a Davo hingeless album, with issues to 1940, plus later Back-of-Book and souvenir sheets, early stamps mostly used, later issues a mix of unused and used, loaded with medium and higher priced stamps, Back-of-Book, including Officials and Newspaper stamps, a few proofs and essays, mixed condition, some of the 20th century Mint N.H., four certificates accompany
Collection, 1870s-1930s. Mostly unused on album pages, unfortunately it has been exposed to water or humidity, causing all the original gum to be removed and some sustaining color running, includes a complete set of the Columbian Issue, first three sets of Bureau issue, many Washington-Franklins, Graf Zeppelin set, comprehensive Postage Dues, complete Offices in China, Canal Zone, and more, our estimate greatly discounts due to the water damage, still many stamps will be salvageable and salable
19th Century Collection, 1845-1870. Mostly used on album pages, many higher cataloguing stamps, includes some Locals & Carriers, Confederate States, and a few Officials, also some proofs, mixed condition, mostly with Fine-Very Fine appearance, ten certificates accompany.
Classic Unused Balance (39/261A). Nine unused stamps with new certificates and problems, most are regummed except where noted in the following list, incudes Nos. 39, 72, 75, 150, 152, 241 (disturbed original gum), 245 (original gum), 261A and E5 (Mint N,H.), each with 2024 P.F. or P.S.E. certificate noting faults (see website PDF for the certificates and the faults), still a useful lot with mostly Very Fine appearing stamps, also includes a No. 232 original-gum imprint and plate no. strip of four, Scott value $11,815
20th Century Accumulation. Many hundreds on sales cards, nearly all unused, value in Washington-Franklins, early Commemoratives, and 1922 Issue, a few modern varieties, a large number of Very Fine or Extremely Fine stamps, many priced at hundreds of dollars each, a large number Mint N.H., an outstanding lot for the retailer of higher quality stamps
20th Century Definitives Collection. Original-gum stamps mounted in three albums, the vast majority of the value is found in the Washington-Franklin issues in volume 1, which is strong and extensive and contains a good amount of Mint N.H., nearly all the sheet stamps are included less rarities and also included are many coils, a range of Perf 12 with some definitely genuine, the collector sought singles and guide line pairs for many issues, we note some other better including a nice Mint N.H. No. 500, No. 467 single, No. 505 single and No. 505 in a block of nine, many others worth review in our website PDF (volume 1 only), a few certificates accompany that volume, the other two volumes include mostly complete 1920's definitives, also some later issues, good condition and overall a Very Fine collection
20th Century Mostly Unused Group. 1920s-1930s, best item is a Graf Zeppelin set, also White Plains sheet, Kans.-Nebr. overprints (sets of unused, used, and blocks), Air Post plate blocks, and more, some lower value items in quantity, somewhat mixed condition, many Fine-Very Fine
Better Stock Book. Stock book with unused and used stamps, range of issues including used Nos. 17, 67, 76, nice range of Bank Notes, unused includes Nos. 294-299, few Columbians including $1.00 and $4.00, 523, 573, 630, 658-679, plate blocks of 832-834, C13-C15, also few other countries such as Canada No. 1, Vatican, few other better, mixed condition but some Fine-Very Fine
Better Stock Book. Stock book containing a range of issues, including used No. 120, unused 292, some better plate blocks including imprint and plate no. bloks of four of Nos. 288 and 323-327, some faults, appear Fine-Very Fine
Better Stock Book. Containing a range of issues strong in Air Post including No. C3 approaching Fast Plane, C3 plate block of C2 plate block, C3 plate block of twelve, C4 plate block of twelve, C5 plate block of six, C10a, C18 plate block, also some random unrelated items, few faults, some Fine-Very Fine
Group of Better Items. A few hundred on sales cards, from early used stamps to Mint N.H. from the first half of the 20th century, also Back-of-Book including Revenues, a large portion priced at hundreds of dollars each, many Fine-Very Fine stamps, some with certificate, a few small faults, but overall a highly saleable lot
Commemorative Collection, 1893-1945. Unused collection in a Safe album, features complete sets of the Columbian, Trans-Mississippi, Pan-Americans, Louisiana Purchase, Pan-American and other issues thru the 1940's, including a White Plains sheet, selection of Air Post less the Graf Zeppelins, the condition is decidedly mixed with no gum, regummed or disturbed gum essentially throughout the better stamps, also some faults including thins, overall Fine appearance and useful with all seven of the dollar value 1890s commemoratives
Commemoratives Album, 1869-1960s. Minkus album with mostly unused stamps, including used 112-122, unused 230-245, 285-293, 294-299, 323-330, 367-373, 397-404, 630, other issues thru 1960s, few faults to be expected, some Fine-Very Fine, an attractive old-time collection
Early Commemoratives Balance. Choice balance of original gum stamps on stock pages, begins with Columbians complete to the 10c, Trans-Mississippi to the 10c with extra 10c, Pan-Americans complete plus an extra 10c with corner selvage, Louisiana Purchase 2c-3c and 10c, Jamestown, 1909 and later issues up to some 2c Reds, original gum, later stamps Mint N.H., centering is choice essentially throughout, Very Fine-Extremely Fine and worth review on our website PDF
Accumulation. A couple dozen stockbooks or counter books, early to modern, some is organized as part of a working dealer's stock, other parts not so organized, includes several Hunting Permit stamps (unused, used, and on license), EFOs, a large quantity of modern used high values ($5.00 definitives, priority and express mail stamps), and much more, useful medium priced items, mixed condition
Accumulation. Stock books and album of unused and used stamps, nice group of Officials plate proofs on card, few used Officials, Newspapers and Periodicals including three large format and a few later issues, 1861-66 Issue plate proofs on card, old-time album with some unused such as 50c Columbian, 10c Pan-American, Air Post such as C1-C6 and C18, some transportation coils, few Revenues such as R97c and R101c, overall Fine-Very Fine
Accumulation. Mostly unused 20th century, on sales pages, album pages, stockbooks, etc., some better plate blocks, lots of modern adding up to a fair amount of face value, majority Fine-Very Fine
Classic Balance. Best item is a horizontal pair of the 1861 issue 5c Brown (76), original gum, selvage at left, Very Good (Scott value $3,000), also used Nos. 71, 138 (extremely bold blue crossroads cancel), 153 and eight examples of either No. 151 or 162 with red NYFM cancels, also one cover, 3c Purple, Justice (O27), right sheet margin single tied by "Washington D.C. Mar ?" duplex datestamp on legal-size cover to Clarksburgh W.V., red Department of Justice illustrated imprint at left, cover repaired at right not affecting stamp, still Very Fine, finally a group of 20 Newspaper stamps, overall mixed condition with some small faults excepted on the stamps, except for the Newspaper stamps which have heavier faults and are not counted in our total, Scott value excluding the Newspaper stamps is $6,185
Balance, 1918-1980s. Album with mostly Mint N.H. stamps, including Nos. 551-573, 599A single, 803-834, 634A, 658-679, also some stock cards with better stamps such as 515 NH graded 90, C1 NH graded 90, C5 NH graded 85, few other graded with SMQ values around $100 or so, overall a fresh and Very Fine-Extremely Fine balance
20th Century Collection. Unused collection in three White Ace binders, nearly all 20th Century with just a handful of 19th Century, including No. 207 original gum, three Newspaper & Periodical issues, the earliest 20th Century is more than a dozen Washington-Franklin coils, picks up from there in 1926 and goes through 1970's with mostly Commemoratives, Back-of-Book including some Air Post plus Air Post cut squares, also a number of Local Post issues and a page of Confederate fakes, nothing particularly valuable but fresh condition
Balance of Unused Stamps. Ten, including Nos. 88, 276, 276A, 292, 293 (2), 311, 312, 523 and E11, several including Nos. 88, 276A and Trans-Mississippis regummed, few other faults, still appear Fine-Very Fine, Scott value $6,970
Assortment. Mostly in stockbooks, some 19th century, but much of the value in 20th century, we noticed Washington-Franklin coils, a White Plains sheet, some EFOs, modern postage including many dollar and up values, a few covers and ephemera, worth taking a look at
Accumulation. Two boxes with a substantial assortment of material, first box with two albums including one sparsely filled, the second album mostly inexpensive used collection with the best part a selection of Revenues cataloguing hundreds of dollars, also stock pages with a variety of classic thru 20th Century stamps with duplication, these a mix of used and unused, including complete unused set of Pan-Americans (with six extra 2c), second box is a huge accumulation of glassines and paper envelopes with many thousands of mostly used stamps, heavy duplication of many Washington-Franklin and 1920s-30s issues in used condition, many of these are from old-time stamp dealers like Economist Stamp Co. (we noted one glassine from them with a variety of unused Washington-Franklin coils), also a decent amount of unused and some plate blocks, we do not note any classics in this box but it will be an early to mid-20th Century sorter's dream, an interesting lot
Unused Balance. Nine original gum stamps, most are Mint N.H. including Nos. 310, 341 (plate no. selvage), 421, 438 (plate no. selvage), 400 (two), 400A (two with plate no. selvage, one hinged) and 403 (hinged), Fine, Scott value exceeds $4,000
Singles Balance, 1893-1920. 12 stamps, mix of used and unused, including used Nos. 238-239 and 291, others are original gum and mostly Mint N.H. including Nos. 287-289, 308, couple others, Fine-Very Fine
Stamp and Cover Accumulation. In two boxes, first box stamps with four stock books, an album and loose, wide range of unused and used stamps, one binder has plate blocks including Presidentials to $1.00 and other 1940's commemoratives, Back-of-Book includes Newspapers with several large format and some fakes, a few useful items to be found ranging to very ordinary, mixed condition, second box loaded with hundreds of covers, wide range of time periods from stampless to 20th Century, some slightly interesting including group of 3c 1851, 1c 1861 on a Patriotic cover, some advertising, binder of Ohio-related covers, etc., mixed condition
Miscellaneous Accumulation. In a single box, assortment of used and unused stamps on approval cards, stock cards, in baggies and glassines, hundreds of stamps with no organization whatsoever but we note a number of classics including No. 10A, range of No. 11-11A, No. 24 with original gum, 25 pair on piece as well as a single, 70, 77 (appears unused but doubtful), two No. 117, other 1861 issue, some Officials, lots of others up to modern, even some face with $195 in sheets of No. 1734
Miscellaneous Balance. Postal card collection, Postage Currency, Farley position blocks, plate number coil strips of three, a few EFOs, cinderellas, and more, much is Fine-Very Fine
Certified Problem Balance. 22 stamps, nearly all appear unused but nearly all are used with cancels removed, each with a new P.F. certificate noting such and also noting faults on most — some quite extensive, there are some interesting items including a No. 2 with a Weiss certificate as original gum, No. 7 with major plate crack, No. 85E, No. 101, many other classics, the only way to understand this lot is by reviewing the website PDF with all the certificates
Classic Stamps Failed Extensions. Five better used or original-gum stamps with a new P.F. or P.S.E. certificate noting a problem, including Nos. 42 (reperfed), 144 (reperfed), 148 (o.g., corner crease), 244 (slight fading from cleaning), 261A (original gum, small thins), overall Fine-Very Fine appearance, Scott value $7,675
Modern Postage Accumulation. Mostly in albums, much is plate blocks and plate strips, but does include full panes and sheets, a large portion is in more recent issues, including Forever stamps, definitive dollar values, and Express Mail stamps, Mint N.H., Fine-Very Fine, face value should easily exceed $5,000
Modern Postage Lot. Plate blocks and strips, singles, and a few sheets, a good feature is that much of the face value is made up of dollar and higher stamps, such as $1.00-$5.00 definitives, and Priority and Express Mail stamps, Mint N.H., Fine-Very Fine, someone who takes that time to add up the face value will see that our estimate is quite conservative
Modern Mint Accumulation. Seven binders, some sheet files and loose, including singles, plate blocks, strips, panes and sheets, most 29c and higher with some dollar values, some Express Mails stamps with a few used, some premium items such as die cut varieties, overall Very Fine, our estimate should prove conservative based on face value
Modern Accumulation. Single heavy box loaded with many hundreds if not thousands of loose album pages with mostly unused stamps, also two volumes of plate blocks from 1939 to 1980's, some sheets and Post Office sealed commemorative items and even some earlier material — we note a used collection starting with Large Bank Note issues, not organized in any way so patient sorting will be required
Postal Stationery Accumulation. Box with many hundreds of mostly unused 19th and 20th Century entires, wrappers, postal cards and some cut squares, includes some useful varieties such as albinos, also 1920's surcharged envelopes banded and noted with Barkhausen numbers, etc., worth review
