The $1.00 value is the rarest of the Offices in China overprints, and in plate block form it is far rarer than any of the others (it has a Scott value of $17,500 vs. $7,000 for the $2.00 surcharge for hinged).

Mint N.H. wide top plate no. 13129 block of six, brilliant color, well-centered, pencil notations on back of ungummed selvage, Very Fine, among the 604 plates used to print the underlying stamp (Scott 528B), only two plates were used for the 1922 Offices in China overprint (13077 and 13129)
