Green stockbook containing a range of unused and used stamps, including unused 233 imprint and plate no. strip of four, 238 (4), 239 (3), 294-299 with some duplication such as four 8c, 400, 400A, 547, 567-573, lots of duplication of later issues, used including Nos. 14, 67, 72, 77, 153 nice group of Bank Notes, also some C.S.A., Hawaii and People's Republic of China, mixed condition with a few no gum or regummed, some appear Fine-Very Fine

Balance. Six stamps, sort of a rogues gallery of items such as 17 with cancel removed, a few others that appear at first glance to be better than they are, offered on their own merits

Nine stamps, including No. 33 with original gum and a light crease, 36 used pair, 37 regummed and corner added, 67 used and regummed, 72 with cancel removed, 89 appears unused, 118 cancel removed, 191 regummed, also 28 with perfs trimmed, all except the 89 with certificates noting faults, Very Good-Fine appearance

Graded Group. About 90 mostly Mint N.H. stamps, each with recent P.S.E graded certificate, most are graded in the 80-90 range, we note SMQ values to $210, a small number with imperfections noted (and grade reduced accordingly), majority Very Fine-Extremely Fine
Graded 95 Group. Fourteen Mint N.H. stamps from No. 605 to 2394, and some Back-of-Book, several coil pairs, each with 2023 or 2024 P.S.E. certificate grading XF-Superb 95, three with Jumbo appellation, SMQ values from $30 to $300, total SMQ value $1,515
Graded 98 Group. 32 Mint N.H. stamps from No. 603 to 1059A and some Back-of-Book, each with 2023 or 2024 P.S.E. certificate graded Superb 98, except No. C46 graded Gem 100, SMQ values from $50 to $225, total SMQ value $3,825

Collection, 1847-2001. Two sets of album pages with stamps in black mounts, in many cases with extras unused or used behind the top stamp, divided into Definitives and Commemoratives, most of the 19th Century is used and then substantially unused from 1890 Issue to modern, the used 19th Century is the normal mixed condition but then it picks up substantially with better condition 20th Century and some surprising inclusions not normally found in collection lots; Definitives, used includes Nos. 1, 68-72, 112-117, 119, range of Bank Notes with a few unused including certified No. 217, Nos. 219-229 unused with some duplication, includes No. 220a, 226 is certified Mint N.H., 1894-98 Bureau Issues including $1.00 Nos. 276-276A and $2.00 watermarked, includes No. 252 Mint N.H., 1902 Issue to $2.00 (missing 50c) including Extremely Fine Mint N.H. No. 315, No. 311 with top plate no. selvage, Washington-Franklins are very extensive including Nos. 331-342, the $1.00 is Extremely Fine with certificate, Perf 12 coils some of which are definitely genuine including 10c No. 356 (with 2000 P.F. certificate), No. 388 is present without a certificate (no guarantees), rather complete rest of the Washington-Franklins less the great rarities, includes all the dollar values with Extremely Fine certified No. 460, also No. 461, No. 505 in a block of nine, 1920's Issues and continues to some modern; Commemoratives, are mostly unused, including Columbians to 50c, Trans-Mississippi to 10c plus used $1.00, complete Pan-Americans, Louisiana Purchase, Panama-Pacific and later issues, White Plains sheet; Back-of-Book, including C1-C6 and a choice Mint N.H. set of C13-C15, Special Delivery including original gum E1 and E5, plus Extremely Fine Mint N.H. E9, complete unused Hunting Permits to 2001, certainly mixed condition on the early issues but overall a strong collection, a number of stamps would have made individual lots except for the owner's desire to keep the collection intact, worth review on our website PDF, a number of certificates accompany and our estimate may prove conservative

Collection, 1932-1999. Large collection in 40 White Ace albums containing singles, plate blocks and some First Day covers, ten volumes are plate blocks, three are Air Post, one is devoted to Legends of the West and includes the error souvenir sheet, one volume for Presidentials with plate blocks to $2.00 and block of four of $5.00, some other areas also represented, Very Fine, a comprehensive collection which no doubt includes a decent amount of face value, worth review, buyer is responsible for actual shipping costs
Modern Collection. Three cartons filled with red albums containing singles, blocks, plate blocks and souvenir sheets, includes some Air Post plate blocks, mostly blocks and larger multiples with a decent stack purchased at the post office and still in their sealed glassines, a massive holding with a tremendous face value, worth review
Modern Collection, 1940-2016. In four Scott albums and a stockbook, unused and used, the unused contains full panes and high dollar denominations, the face value on the unused should add up to many hundreds of dollars
Commemoratives Collection, 1893-1948. White Ace album pages with mostly unused stamps, including Nos. 230-241, 244, 285-291, 294-299, 323-330, 369, 397-400, 401-403, few multiples such as block of four of 400A, used No. 293, some Mint N.H., some faults on the earlier higher value items but overall fresh and Fine-Very Fine

Massive accumulation containing a wide range of items, including an entire volume related to Air Mail related including labels from various airlines, newspaper clippings etc., one with stickers and other odds and ends such as a label with Uncle Sam and "No Third Term!" campaign sticker for Willkie, cards for Indian Chewing Gum, few baseball cards such as Bobby McLean Sport Kings Gum card, Topp's Frank Thomas card #409 signed, Americana such as post cards and ads for Coca Cola and others, cinderellas, other oddities, some faults, many Fine-Very Fine, a widely diverse group
Modern Mint Group. One group of mostly 34c-37c panes, with an adding-machine tape of over $500, other miscellaneous sheets and part sheets, many souvenir sheets, including 40 sets of the 1992 Columbian in original envelopes, Fine-Very Fine
Mint Accumulation, 1940-2005. Mostly commemoratives, some regular issues, more than $1,500 face value in denominations from 1c to 50c, including margin inscription blocks, plate strips, blocks, a few booklets, and singles, vast majority N.H, sorted by denomination in glassines, counted, and housed in one full 5 1/2" x 4" x 18" file box, six denominations account for $1,000 of the face value: 37c, 29c, 25c,22c, 15c, and 13c, no bulk mail or others requiring permits, clean, neat and organized, tapes accompany
New York Foreign Mail Cancels. Approximately 65, including 90c (14), 24c (13), 15c (3), 12c (3), 10c (4), 6c (25) and a few others, range of different cancels with four in red, stamps with some faults but all appear Fine-Very Fine, an attractive group
Precancels Collection. Massive collection in nine volumes plus some loose, mostly arranged alphabetically, including one album with Air Post with C1 plate block with Federalsburg Maryland precancel, C3 block of four and left arrow block plus a number of singles with different precancels, other early Air Post are also well represented, one album with Postage Due issues, another with commemorative stamps with nice group of Panama-Pacific such as set of four blocks from Hanover N.H., nice range of multiples, some varieties such as inverted precancels, some faults to be expected but overall Fine-Very Fine, a difficult group to assemble and a wonderful lot for someone looking to study precancels
Multiples Collection. Good balance with many items on auction lot cards as purchased, earliest is No. 230 bottom imprint and plate no. strip of four, continues into the 1920's and Air Post, mostly plate blocks with some other multiples, original gum with some Mint N.H., a few Yellow are slightly oxidized but the condition overall is decent, Fine-Very Fine, see our website PDF for a complete scan

The random elements of the Penguin collection, numerous categories of material with some more interesting items sprinkled in, we note a No. 17 bisect tied on piece, a 1c Franklin woodcut essay envelope, a block of four of a 2c counterfeit, an 1853 Half-Dime, loads of stamps from Classics to No. 573 and numerous sheets of more modern face, some covers including First Days to Harold Ickes and one signed by General Omar Bradley and another by the wife of General Douglas Macarthur, also a box of postal stationery and postal cards and an envelope of Confederates, truly a mixed bag but some interesting material for the patient sorter
