Brooklyn and Long Island Sanitary Fair, (15c) Green (WV4). Original gum, h.r., rich color, ample margins to clear at upper right, horizontal crease at bottom, appears Very Fine, ex Kantor
Brooklyn Sanitary Fair, 5c Black on Rosy Buff (WV6). Large part original gum, small thin spots, Fine appearance, approximately 30-40 copies known, ex Kantor
Brooklyn Sanitary Fair, 10c Green (WV7). Original gum, huge margins, thin spot in top margin, appears Extremely Fine, approximately 25-30 copies known, ex Kantor
Metropolitan Fair, New York, 10c Red (WV9). Unused (no gum), full margins to clear at bottom left, rich color, light horizontal crease
VERY FINE APPEARING EXAMPLE OF THE RARE 10-CENT METROPOLITAN SANITARY FAIR ISSUE.
Fewer than 20 examples are recorded and many are faulty or are cut into the design. Ex Kantor.
Soldier's Fair, Springfield Mass., 10c Lilac (WV14). Full margins to touched at lower right, affixed with slight brown gum on cover with proper dark blue "Soldier's Fair, Springfield, Dec. 20, 1864" circular datestamp, Very Fine and actually better than usual as others have much more brown gum staining, these covers were probably prepared in advance and sold to patrons, this unaddressed example is what may be termed an unused entire, ex Kantor
Soldier's Fair, Stamford Conn., 15c Pale Brown (WV15). Original gum, bright color, full margins, tiny natural inclusions not mentioned on certificate
VERY FINE AND CHOICE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE STAMFORD SOLDIERS' FAIR STAMP.
A total of 14 Stamford Soldiers' Fair stamps are recorded, including nine unused. They were issued during the fair on July 27-29, 1864.
