HAWAII, Unused Certified Balance (10/41). Balance of 19 unused stamps, each with a 2023 P.F. certificate, including Nos. 10, 10S-11S, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30b, 31a, 33, 34, 36, 38-41, mix of original gum and no gum, some with faults which are enumerated on the certificates, but several of the Numerals are sound, Fine-Very Fine or appear so, see our website PDF for a complete scan of stamps and certificates
GUAM, 1899, 50c Orange (11). Bottom imprint and plate no. 75 block of six, tropicalized original gum, deep rich color, Fine, a rare sound plate block of Guam No. 11, our informal research found only six other plate blocks; it is only known from the bottom position from Plate 75
GUAM, 1899, $1.00 Black, Ty. II (13). Original gum, multiple h.r., intense shade, Fine and scarce, the $1.00 Type II exists only as a Special Printing, most surviving examples are defective to some degree, with 1952 P.F. certificate issued to Robert A. Siegel

EXTREMELY FINE. A RARE AND DESIRABLE PLATE BLOCK OF THE 10-CENT TYPE II WITH PHILIPPINES OVERPRINT. POSSIBLY THE FINEST PLATE BLOCK EXANT.
The 10c Type II is one of the scarcest of the Philippines 1899 Overprinted Issue in plate block form. The example offered here, in sound condition with several Mint N.H. stamps, is especially desirable.

VERY FINE. A SCARCE ORIGINAL-GUM PLATE BLOCK OF THE 15-CENT 1903 PHILIPPINES OVERPRINT.
We have offered only four other plate blocks since 1994, including one in Mint N.H. condition (realized $25,000 in our 2012 Rarities sale). Of the other three hinged plate blocks, one has perfs in on two sides and the other two have perfs close on at least one side. The example offered here is one of the finest we have encountered.
PHILIPPINES, 1926, 16c Light Olive Green, Violet Overprint (C7). Large part original gum, rich color, typical centering for this issue, few gum soaked perf tips at tip, Fine, only 300 were overprinted
Possessions Collection. In two Palo albums, Canal Zone mostly used and with a high degree of completion, Guam the basic set of eleven stamps unused, some Philippines, and Ryukyu Islands appears to be complete less No. 17, slightly mixed quality
