1c-90c 1875 Reprint of 1851-57 Issue (40-47). Complete set, without gum as issued, all with bright and fresh colors, usual mixed centering and some short perfs, some faults to be expected which are small except for 3c with a large tear, 24c small internal tear, the 90c is sound

Complete sets are rarely offered. This is only the fourth we have sold since 1993.
3c Scarlet, Reprint (41). Without gum as issued, bright color, tiny corner perf crease at top left and few short perfs at left, otherwise Fine, only 479 sold, with 1997 P.S.E. certificate mentioning only the perf crease
10c Blue Green, Reprint (43). Without gum as issued, unusually well-centered for this issue, deep rich color, couple nibbed perfs at right, appears Very Fine, only 516 sold, with 2020 P.S.E. certificate
12c Greenish Black, Reprint (44). Without gum as issued, intense shade, Fine, only 489 sold, with 2021 P.S.A.G. certificate
24c Blackish Violet, Reprint (45). Without gum as issued, fresh color, couple short perfs at top and one at bottom, appears Fine, only 479 sold, with 1973 A.P.S. certificate
30c Yellow Orange, Reprint (46). Without gum as issued, bright color, centered to bottom left, Very Good, only 480 sold
90c Deep Blue, Reprint (47). Without gum as issued, well-centered, deep rich color
VERY FINE EXAMPLE OF THE 90-CENT 1860 REPRINT.
The Continental Bank Note Company reprinted the 90c stamp from the original plate of 200 subjects. 10,000 were printed (50 impressions). Only 454 were sold; the remaining 9,546 were destroyed on July 23, 1884.
