3c Rose, C. Grill (83). Original gum, lightly hinged, clearly defined C Grill, with the grill points facing up instead of down, fresh color, Fine, a scarce original-gum stamp, with 1999 P.F. certificate
3c Rose, D. Grill (85). Rich color, clear grill, unusually choice centering, cork cancel, Extremely Fine, a beautiful stamp, with 1988 P.F. and 2002 and 2005 P.S.E. certificates (XF 90), only five grade higher and five others share this grade, SCV $1,050
2c Black, Z. Grill (85B). Disturbed original gum, intense shade and impression, clearly defined grill
FINE. A SCARCE SOUND ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1867 2-CENT Z GRILL.
This is one of the most difficult grilled issues to obtain with decent centering. As further evidence of this stamp's rarity, the P.S.E. Population Report lists only five original gum stamps in any grade, including graded 10 (two), 20, 30 and 50. With 2024 P.S.E. certificate. SCV $19,000.
2c Black, Z. Grill (85B). Unused (no gum), centered to bottom left, Very Good, a collectible example of this scarce unused stamp, with 2024 P.F. certificate
2c Black, Z. Grill (85B). Clearly defined grill, crisp impression nicely complemented by red cork cancel, fresh and Fine, with 2023 P.F. certificate
12c Black, Z. Grill (85E). Well-centered and intense shade, unobtrusive segmented cork cancel
VERY FINE AND CHOICE USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1868 12-CENT Z GRILL.
With 1989 P.F. and 2017 P.S.A.G. certificates (VF-XF 85).
12c Black, Z. Grill (85E). Detailed impression, clearly defined grill, neat strike of target cancel, Fine, with 2022 P.F. certificate
1c Blue, E. Grill (86). Mint N.H., bright color, Fine, with 2024 P.F. certificate that states "slight gum toning mostly on the reverse", this is an unduly harsh call in our opinion as it looks clean, a very rare stamp in Mint N.H. condition, Scott value as hinged
2c Black, E. Grill (87). Crisp impression on bright paper, circle of wedges cancel, wide and balanced margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2009 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95), only three grade higher
15c Black, E. Grill (91). Crisp impression, clear grill, neat cork cancel, Extremely Fine, with 1990 and 2022 P.F. certificates (VF-XF 85)
10c Yellow Green, F. Grill (96). Original gum, lightly hinged, choice centering with unusually wide margins at top and bottom, deep rich color and sharp grill impression on bright paper
EXTREMELY FINE. ONE OF THE FINEST ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLES OF THE 1868 10-CENT F GRILL.
The 10c F Grill is extremely rare with original gum and any sort of decent centering. The P.S.E. Population Report bears this out, as it lists only two original gum stamps — at grades of 70 and 75. This is easily one of the finest examples we have encountered.
Ex Fox and Hall. With 1992 P.F. certificate.
10c Green, F. Grill (96 var). Deep Green color, wide margins and excellent centering, unobtrusive cork cancel, Extremely Fine Gem, a very choice used example, with 1995 and 2005 P.F. certificates
24c Gray Lilac, F. Grill (99). Original gum, intense shade, attractive centering and margins
FRESH AND FINE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1868 24-CENT F GRILL.
The higher-denomination F Grills were produced in limited quantities and seem to have caused National Bank Note Co. difficulty in applying perforations. They are typically off center with very choppy perfs. This stamp has well-formed perforations.
With 2015 P.F. certificate.
24c Gray Lilac, F. Grill (99). Pastel shade, outstanding centering with balanced margins, light rosette cancel
EXTREMELY FINE GEM USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1868 24-CENT F GRILL — GRADED XF-SUPERB 95 BY THE PHILATELIC FOUNDATION.
The higher-denomination F Grills were produced in limited quantities and are often found either off center or with choppy perforations. This stamp is a true condition rarity.
Ex Myerson. With 1983 and 2019 P.F. certificates (XF-Superb 95).
30c Orange, F. Grill (100). Unused (regummed), rich color, Fine, scarce in unused condition, with 2004 P.F. certificate
2c Black, Re-Issue (103). Original gum, h.r., previously had a few slightly gum soaked perfs at bottom but this has been almost entirely mitigated (and not mentioned on accompanying certificate), Very Fine, only 979 sold, with 1983 P.F. certificate
3c Brown Red, Re-Issue (104). Original gum, perhaps slightly disturbed from hinge removal but not noted as such on accompanying certificates, deep rich color, attractive margins and centering
VERY FINE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 3-CENT 1861 RE-ISSUE.
The 3c Re-Issue was printed from one of the original plates, which contained 200 subjects in two panes. 10,000 were printed and only 465 were sold.
With 1982 and 2018 P.F. certificates.
10c Green, Re-Issue (106). Original gum, Jumbo margins, deep rich color

With 2004 P.F. certificate.
