2c Black, Z. Grill (85B). Unused (no gum), centered to bottom right, pulled perf at bottom left corner and at right, the latter barely noticeable, otherwise Fine, scarce unused stamp, with 1995 P.F. certificate, SCV $8,000
1c Blue, E. Grill (86). Block of four, original gum, clear grills, top left stamp few creases, few toned spots, few small perf flaws, otherwise Fine, this is a difficult issue to obtain as a multiple, most have perfs significantly into the design on at least one side, SCV $20,000
1c Blue, E. Grill (86). Deep rich color, clear grill, circular datestamp and target cancels, Very Fine and choice, with 2016 and 2021 P.F. certificates (latter VF-XF 85)

Horizontal strip of eight, unusually choice margins and centering for such a large multiple, perf separations reinforced with hinges, a few stamps with minor non-obvious faults, Fine-Very Fine, a rare used strip in this size, ex Ishikawa, Faust and Flannery, Scott value as four pairs

3c Red, F. Grill (94). Block of four, three stamps Mint N.H., lower left stamp single hinge mark, clear grills, Fine, with 2023 P.S.A.G. certificate, Scott value as hinged block without premium for the three Mint N.H. stamps
3c Red, F. Grill (94). Outstanding centering with balanced margins, bright shade nicely complemented by perfect strike of blue Mummer's Fez fancy cancel of Philadelphia, Extremely Fine stamp and strike of this fancy cancel, with 2021 P.F. certificate (XF 90)
3c Red, F. Grill, Very Thin Paper (94 var). Rich color on bright paper, beautiful centering with Jumbo margins, face-free segmented cork and circular datestamp cancels, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2007 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95 Jumbo), only three grade higher (two at 98, one at 98J) and two others share this grade, we have sold a few of the others and they were not on this paper variety
5c Brown, F. Grill (95). Well-centered, appears to have four different colored cancels including blue target, blue circular datestamp, red transit and red "Paid", Very Fine and choice, most unusual, with 1995 P.S.E. certificate
10c Yellow Green, F. Grill (96). Original gum, h.r., rich color, clearly defined grill, short perf at bottom left, Fine appearance, with 2014 P.S.E. certificate
10c Yellow Green, F. Grill, Very Thin Paper (96 var). Unused, two P.F. certificates state part original gum, recent P.S.E. certificate states regummed, wide margins and rich color, Extremely Fine, with 1979 and 2008 P.F. certificates as part o.g. and not mentioning thin paper variety, with 2025 P.S.E. certificate (RG, VF-XF 85), SCV $900 as no gum
12c Black, F. Grill (97). Well-centered, quartered cork cancel, Extremely Fine, with 2024 P.S.A.G. certificate (VF-XF 85)

Intense shade and impression nicely complemented by red circle of wedges cancel, Extremely Fine and attractive example of this paper variety, with 1987 P.F. and 2005 P.S.E. certificates (XF 90; SMQ $800.00 as normal with no premium for the paper variety), SCV $390
