Group of three pairs and one single, each plated from Plate 5E and with San Francisco Cal. circular datestamps, one with left sheet margin and centerline, single with large part of adjoining stamp to left, nice condition with just one pair with corner creases (top right in our PDF scan), overall Fine-Very Fine, an attractive group from Plate 5E used from San Francisco, one pair with 2011 P.F. certificate

Group of 15, virtually all plated, including one unused (no gum) with internal tear, cancels include small Boston "Paid", grids in red and green, impressive range of shades, margins to in, some faults, overall Fine-Very Fine, six with certificates, Scott value with no premium for the better cancels or positions

Ten stamps on a stock card, individually selected for some desirable quality, including six No. 10 or 10A with several graded VF-XF 85, one No. 10A tied to a piece with Boyd's No. 20L4, two No. 11 or 11A with huge sheet margins including one straddle-pane corner margin, also includes a single No. 26 graded 95 by P.S.A.G., couple others best viewed on our website PDF, Extremely Fine group, nine certificates accompany
3c 1851 Issue, Ty. I, II, Graded XF-Superb 95 (11, 11A). Exceptional group of eight stamps graded XF-Superb 95 by P.S.E. (one by P.F.), three No. 11 and five No. 11A, each with brilliant color with some different shades apart from the normal Dull Red, obviously choice margins, handstamp cancels including one in blue, fresh and bright throughout, Extremely Fine Gem group, total SMQ as all P.S.E. graded is $2,000
3c Dull Red, Ty. I (11). Huge margins and brilliant color, unobtrusive circular datestamp cancel, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2014 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98)
3c Yellowish Rose Red, Ty. I (11 var). Large margins all around including traces of four adjoining stamps, radiant color, face-free strike of circular datestamp at lower left, Extremely Fine Gem, a superb example of this unusual shade, ex Gorham, with 2007 P.F. certificate (XF-Superb 95)

3c Dull Red, Ty. I (11). Vertical pair with top right corner sheet margins, ample margins other ample, neat blue "St. Louis Mo. Jun 4" circular datestamp, Extremely Fine, a lovely pair

Positions 46-49L4 noted on back, horizontal strip of four, huge margins including portions of adjoining stamps at left, throughout top, throughout bottom on three and partial at bottom on a fourth, right stamp just in at right, New York circular datestamp cancels, Extremely Fine Gem strip, with 1988 P.F. certificate
3c Claret, Ty. I (11). Block of four, ample to huge margins including top sheet margin, attractive color, neat "Wilmington Del. Feb. 18" circular datestamps, slight natural dry print on top left stamp, light corner creases at top and pressed diagonal crease, appears Very Fine-Extremely Fine, ex Spalding
3c Dull Red, Ty. I, Chicago Perf 12½ (11 var). Position 40L7, scissors-separated at right with intact perforations, huge margin at left with portion of adjoining stamp, full perfs at top and bottom, creases and "natural paper fold" noted on accompanying certificate, Fine appearing and certainly the largest Chicago Perf stamp we have encountered, ex Wagshal, with 1978 P.F. certificate, Scott value $5,000
3c Dull Red, Ty. I, Chicago Perf 12½ (11 var). Scissors-separated at top into the design, centered to right, "Chicago Ill. Sep. 1, 1856" circular datestamp cancel, tiny corner perf tip crease, Very Good example of the Chicago Perf and desirable as an off-cover stamp with a dated cancel before perforated stamps were introduced, Scott value $5,000
3c Dull Red, Ty. II (11A). Plate 3, horizontal pair with right sheet margin, left stamp extra vertical line outside left frameline, original gum which is called slightly disturbed on accompanying certificate (we feel that is unduly harsh), ample margins other sides including traces of adjoining stamps at top, brilliant color, Extremely Fine, a choice pair from the "Three Rows" area of the left pane of Plate 3, with 2020 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90; pairs unpriced in SMQ)

3c Experimental Orange Brown, Ty. II (11A var). Positions 86-87R1L, horizontal pair, full margins to clear, "Saint Louis Mo. Feb. 8" circular datestamps, Very Fine, a scarce and choice multiple of this rare share, ex Gorham, with 2003 P.F. certificate, Scott value as singles

Positions 86-87R3, horizontal pair, huge margins including portions or traces of eight adjoining stamps, pretty pastel color, grid cancels, Extremely Fine Gem, a superb pair, the right stamp is certainly a Gem 100 and likely could yield a Gem 100 Jumbo if the left stamp were sacrificed (we don't advocate that), with 2020 P.F. certificate
