12c Black, E. Grill (90). Tied by magenta quartered cork cancel, matching "Hartford Ct. Apr. 28" (1868) circular datestamp on cover with American Emigrant Co.'s illustrated corner card and printed address to Liverpool, England, red New York and Liverpool transits, sender's directive "For George H. Warner" at bottom (Secretary and Treasurer of the American Emigrant Co.), carried on the Cunarder Scotia, which departed New York Apr. 29 and arrived Queenstown May 8, stamp has a few short perfs, still Very Fine, a beautiful illustrated design
