G. Carter's Despatch, Philadelphia Pa., 2c Black, 2c Black on Ribbed (36L1, 36L1a). Both on cover, cancelled by red wash, large margins to slightly in, the ribbed paper stamp with top sheet margin which nicely shows the paper variety, also with additional blue pen cancel, some ink erosion in the address of 36L1a cover, Very Fine pair of covers, latter illustrated in Penny Post (Nov. 1992)
