Brooklyn and Long Island Sanitary Fair, (15c) Green (WV4). Positions 4-5, horizontal pair with part of right sheet margin, original gum, large margins all aroundFRESH AND EXTREMELY FINE. ONE OF FOUR RECORDED MULTIPLES OF THE GREEN BROOKLYN SANITARY FAIR STAMP.
The largest recorded multiple is a block of six, followed by a block of four and a strip of three. This pair was probably cut from the same sheet as the block of six and single offered in our 1996 Kantor sale.
