EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A PHENOMENAL MINT NEVER HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT LOUISIANA PURCHASE ISSUE, GRADED SUPERB 98 BY P.S.E. THIS IS WITHOUT QUESTION ONE OF THE FINEST IN EXISTENCE.

With 2006 and 2021 P.S.E. certificates (Superb 98). SMQ value is too low in our opinion. Only one grades higher, at 98J (realized $14,500 hammer in 2017 versus SMQ of $7,500). Five others share this grade.
