10c Yellow (116). Original gum, vibrant color, gorgeous centering with wide and balanced margins

EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 10-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL ISSUE, GRADED XF-SUPERB 95 BY P.S.E. — ONLY ONE GRADES HIGHER.

Due to the slightly asymmetrical design, this value of the 1869 Pictorial set is difficult to obtain in the higher grades. With 1980 P.F. and 2004 and 2022 P.S.E. certificates (OGh, XF-Superb 95). Only one grades higher (at 98) and six others share this desirable grade.
