5c Blue, Imperforate (315). Mint N.H. top, right, left and bottom arrow blocks of four, first three with Ball Marker, left arrow block with some plate printers' initials, large margins all around, deep rich color

EXTREMELY FINE GEMS. A STUNNING AND RARE MINT NEVER-HINGED SET OF THE FOUR POSITIONS ON THE SHEET OF 400 THAT YIELD ARROW BLOCKS.

The blue Ball Marker, caused by ink settling into indentations from a Brinnell plate hardness measuring device, is only found on the top, right and left arrow blocks. Some arrow blocks do not have the Ball Markers at all. This set, showing the markers on all three possible positions, is highly desirable.

Each with 2019 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; unpriced in block form). Scott value as three Mint N.H. ball marker blocks and four singles.
