3c Ultramarine (114). Jumbo margins and outstanding centering, bright color beautifully complemented by deep red cork cancel, Extremely Fine Gem, a superb stamp, ex Kirke, with 2010 P.F. and 2007 P.S.E. certificates (latter XF-Superb 95 Jumbo), only one example grades higher (at 98, offered in this sale as lot 21) and only six others have achieved this grade, we checked and this is the only at this grade with a colored cancel, this is a surprisingly small population for this workhorse of the 1869 Issue
